Green Lemonade

green lemonade

Ahhh yes! I’m back on juicing! Life kinda got in the way!

apple, romaine lettuce, lemon

I found this *recipe* for Green Lemonade in the latest Whole Living Magazine. I had all the ingredients and gave it a try. Genius! The apples provide the sweetness you need in a lemonade. The head of romaine lettuce gives the green element & the extra juice you need to dilute the lemon & apple juice.

I let Cooper have a taste and was shocked to find him chasing me around the house for more. Guess who found a good way to get the boy to eat lettuce?

Look at how electric it is!! It gives you such a boost!

electric!

Soo tangy and fresh! It made me bounce off the walls.

As one of my friends said…could be a good Frankenstein Juice for Halloween!

Green Lemonade

  • 1 head romaine lettuce
  • 1 lemon, with peel cut off
  • 2 apples (I used Granny Smith)

Juice the lettuce, lemons & apples together. If you want a sweeter, less tangy juice use a sweeter apple. I used Granny Smith so it gave a lot of tang!
