The Ultimate Beverage Organizer!

it's true

Do you watch Cribs on MTV and pay close attention to the inside of celebrity fridges? I do, and I can always tell when celebrities have hired their own fridge stylist. All of the labels are perfect, there’s a balance of fruits & vegetables and there’s no take out containers. Celebrities get take out.  Even though it’s all for show, it doesn’t stop me from wanting my own fridge to have beautiful rows of beverages, all lined up waiting to be restocked and organized. One of the things I disliked most about our old fridge was how hard it was to organize our beverages! Because we didn’t have dedicated sections for beverages, we always jammed them in wherever we could. This meant that I had a TERRIBLE time figuring out what went where and I lost beverages in the process.

Let me take you on a little tour of our new Electrolux fridge with all of its cool beverage options!

Here’s the section where I keep my milks & juices. It’s totally accessible & roomy!

I don’t have to reach up high to get my milk; it’s right at my fingertips.

On the left hand door, there’s a special shelf for exceptionally tall beverages!! How clever!

a special shelf

Look at this little section! It fits 4 cans of ginger ale like it ain’t no thang! It tips back & forth so I can easily pull one out. It makes gin & ginger ale making easier!

Also…I like hot sauce.

Here’s the best part! The Perfect Temp Drawer! You can customize this huge drawer with your ideal temperature with a push of a button.

Apparently you can fit a whole sheet cake in this drawer AND you can set the temperature yourself. So if you have an entire ICE CREAM sheet cake, you can make sure it’s chilled to the right temperature. How cool is that? There’s also a Snack preset, which would be great for kids. They know the drawer is theirs and they can just pull something out!

It’s become our WINE DRAWER! There is a removable rack that stores 4 bottles of wine. This drawer also is ribbed so that drinks won’t slide around when you open the door. Genius!

Having a fridge that has smart storage options for beverages is AWESOME.

This is part of a series of six posts sponsored by Electrolux as part of Homebuzz.  I received an Electrolux appliance in exchange for my participation.  The opinions stated in this post are my own.

I never thought I’d be jealous of someone’s fridge, but I totally am right now! HA! I love it!

  • TheGourmetCoffeeGuy

What a refrigerator! Must be nice to have a fridge stylist…Did not know there was such a “job title.”
Oh, well, we can settle with using some of your excellent advice to make the best use out of the space available in our own fridge. With some planning and ideas from you post, we can end up with a well organized beverage selection in the fridge. Thank you for your post, interesting reading.

Cool fridge; loving the wine drawer! Congrats on great podcast – just listening to it now:)

  • Frau Haselmayer

    Total fridge envy!

  • Vanessa

Gosh, your fridge is pretty awesome. I like that temperature controlled drawer and that tall shelf for tall beverages. How nifty.

  • Jane M

WOWZERS that is some fancy fridge!

  • Shawna Greenway

I love Pearl vodka! Have you tried the Pomegranate? The cucumber is really good, too. Why do you keep hot sauce in the fridge – just curious. Have you tried Frank’s? That stuff is addictive! I really do put that s*#@ on everything! Mangos and Frank’s wakes me up every morning.

    • Tracy

Oh. You don’t have to refrigerate hot sauce??? My mom always did so I just figured I had to! I have mangoes in my kitchen right now and I haven’t had breakfast yet….ok I’m going to do that.

Also- I’ve only had the regular Pearl. It’s super, isn’t it?? I need to try flavors. I’m going to do that.

      • Shawna Greenway

I don’t normally liked flavored vodka but there is something so thick and luxurious about the Pearl flavors that I’m hooked!

My mom always refrigerated hot sauce too but I just figured it was because we lived in South Texas and everything went bad if it wasn’t in the fridge. I leave hot sauce and BUTTER out – so scandalous!

  • Arne

Okay, I think we’ve seen enough about this fridge… 🙁

  • Brie

She has to make these posts as part of her agreement with the company, Arne. (There will be 6 total, it says in her post.) I’m sure she feels a little awkward about it too but I’d DEFINITELY do it for a free fridge!

  • Julie (Bananas for Bourbon)

Jealous!!! The tall drink bin? The tilt drawer? The wine fridge?! I want it all. I currently have the fridge you happily replaced. *sigh* I personally love these posts, even if you “have” to do them. Had I had this when I was shopping for appliances 3 years ago, I’d be happier with what I bought! Also, I love that you obsess over the same things as I do.

    • Tracy

Thank you for validating my OCD fridge behavior! I wouldn’t have it any other way, you know?

  • regan

I like when fridge drawers are ribbed for my pleasure.

  • Jessica

Even MORE reasons to love your fridge! The cute ice cubes totally sold me.

  • Jessica

I think you should name your fridge 007. It’s so James Bond!

  • stacy g

ok so now that you’ve had your frig a couple months? wondering…. it’s obvious you love it but how do you like the pull out freezer drawer? I have a side by side and it looks like Sears is replacing it under my warranty because the second level of the refrigerator is always freezing stuff like my celery which I have to shove in the weirdest places because the the refrigerator is tooooo small! anyway I’m going to upgrade to a bigger model just not sold on the freezer drawer I hear the pitfall is that everything gets stacked on top of each other and this makes for frustrated digging to find what you need. What do you think? Thanks

    • Tracy

I LOVE IT. I know exactly where to find what i am looking for on each of the levels! I could never find anything in my old side by side fridge. NEVER.

  • Thank you, Electrolux! › shutterbean
