My Everyday Life: Week 14

Here’s what this week looked like:

I started this week off with my striped skirt & a parking ticket!

BAM! Lavender.

Eating Pizza Fritz at my parent’s house for breakfast this morning. We’ve got Easter eggs to dye!

Late night drinking with my parents.

my everyday life: week 14

A cloud I liked.

my everyday life: week 14

Playing with Cooper in his bedroom. I spotted a few leaves on the birch tree outside ready to pop out.

my everyday life: week 14

Cooper is now at the height where he can seesaw on his own. Sad face.

my everyday life: week 14

He found a little buddy at the park.

my everyday life: week 14

No matter how hard I try, I always order the same vegetable breakfast skillet at Stacks.

my everyday life: week 14

A Mickey Mouse pancake that Cooper refused to eat. He did eat all of this bacon though…

my everyday life: week 14

My mom sticks her tongue out when she writes too.

my everyday life: week 14

Leaves sprouting out of trees EVERYWHERE. This gets me so excited.

T-Flo’s Angel Hair with Arugula Lemon & Chile pasta. Casey is the hand model in this one 🙂

These long legs are now in 4T pants.

This is Remy sitting on her favorite chair. She’s not really a black cat. She has brown roots.

my everyday life: week 14

Cooper FINALLY eats. He’s was sick with a fever/cold situation all week. He  barely touched his food.

my everyday life: week 14

A little mantle decoration for this month.

Sickness.

my everyday life: week 14

Your photography is beautiful! Consider me a fan!

  • Annette

I have to know what is this Pizza Fritz? I am very curious.

    • Tracy

It’s fried pizza dough rolled in sugar. It’s AMAZING. My grandma used to make it for my dad as a kid and we make it with my family every once in awhile.

  • Emily

Agreed-I’ve never heard of Pizza Fritz before! Glad your little one is better and sorry about your ticket!

  • Des

Oh, Stacks! I used to live right next to the one in Hayes Valley and went there all the time and now you’ve made me miss it terribly!

    • Tracy

Aww. What was your favorite thing to eat there?

      • Des

I usually got the bacon and avocado omelet, but I always made sure that SOMEONE I was there with would order the lumberjack pancakes so that I could steal a few bites whenever no one was looking.

  • Nicole @ The Dirty Oven

Loves to you and Stacks!!! BYW…. you are totes Jack! Glad that your kiddo is feeling better.

  • Rebecca

Oh my… I bought a black and white striped maxi dress today, and I thought, “This is so Tracy Shutterbean.” I also happen to be wearing black and white striped socks today, so when I tried the dress on it was like… Tracy Shutterbean TO THE MAX. And then I came here and saw your stripey skirt!

I’ve been craving chocolate chip cookies since I saw that recipe.. I may just cave. And your cat (and photography) are beautiful!!

    • Tracy

I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT!!! I’m wearing a striped cardigan as I sit here and type this….

REMY IS GORGEOUS! My black cat is also such a deep burgundy in the sun; what a faker! Please more Remy on your blog, if you’re inclined that is 😉

I used to stick my tongue out when I wrote too but then some guy licked his lips back at me, so that stopped me forever. Also, is Cooper left handed? Left handed and green eyes? This boy melts me!

Your cookie jumped start to the top of my to do list, even before breathing.

Love your weekly posts as always. Hope another lovely week is to come!

    • Tracy

Thanks! Remy isn’t the most photogenic cat. She’s such a little lover in person, but sometimes I just can’t get a good shot on my camera. I’ll try more 🙂

  • AlisonA

No, I cannot blame you. My husband has been in the hospital 6 weeks over the past year (with open surgery wounds and unspeakable things) and every day I would frump down and say “I need a cookie” Except sometime I replaced “cookie” with “bacon cheese fries”.

    • Mary

      AlisonA,

I am sorry to hear about your husband, but I agree–sometimes a cookie just needs to be switched to fries and drowning in the orange stuff and bacon.

Hope it all works out! :3

      • AlisonA

He’s a lot better! Thank you! He’s a real life photographer now 🙂 And I have an Instagram blog! I think thats kind of ironically funny 🙂

    • Tracy

Umm bacon cheese fries sound pretty amazing to me. Sending love to you & your husband. Hope he heals well. xo

  • Lindsay

My cat’s name is Remy, too! Except he is a little golden man – not classy like your pretty black lady.

I hope your little one gets better soon. That can’t be fun for anyone.

Thanks for sharing your life with us!

  • Lucia

Leaves sprouting out of trees are always exciting. The beginning is always exciting 🙂

  • Rachael

Gorgeous photos, gorgeous cat, yummy looking food!
That mickey mouse pancake looks delish!
    Thanks for sharing your week!

  • Zoe

    That cat photo is gorgeous.
    xx

  • Darcee

I’m stuck on the veggie scramble at Stacks too!! It’s just so yummy

  • Trae C

OK, I just reached out and tried to grab that cookie. Now I know what I’ll be baking tomorrow.
