Everyday Food Lovers adapted my Strawberry Clafouti.

Jessica from The Desert Abode made my Cream Cheese Cinnamon Rolls. Congrats to you!!

  • Madeline

Tracy, been following your blog and Joy the Baker’s blog for a while now (love the podcasts by the way). After reading #16 this morning, I had to comment. I was just thinking the same thing this morning! I made mushroom lasagna last Friday and am dying to make your mushroom soup. Thanks for all the great recipes!

  • tianna @ Suffocated Bliss

I’ll be using those 33 cleaning tricks, for sure! – Thanks for you always fun and inspiring lists!

    – tianna 🙂

  • marci

I love that Lumineers song, too! heard it for the second time this morning on Sirius. Have you heard their song “Hey Ho”? It is AWESOME and so catchy.

  • Lori H

I enjoyed the cleaning tricks and pinned them for future reference. But the banana slicer (shoot it with a gun!) made me snort. 🙂

  • Sarah

Great! Thanks Tracy – now I have A Whole New World in my head. Cute article though. And the banana slicer comments are hilarious.

  • Carly

Did anyone else sigh when they got to #33 of the OCD cleaning page?

  • Tina

I have been saying that I need to clean out my car for ….months now. I’m often out of town on weekends so between that and my Monday through Friday routine, my car is LOADED with junk. I’m forever jamming things in the trunk space so my dog has a spot in the back seat. I think your post has motivated me enough to go and finally clean out the jeep! Thank you!

  • Katrina @ Warm Vanilla Sugar

Great list this week! I LOVE the OCD cleaning list!

  • Susan

LOL the banana comments are great! I have been laughing nonstop over those!

  • lisa g

i love your lists! seriously, i mean fridays are already pretty great but this part of your blog is a friday highlight. thanks for making them!

  • GingerMae

I was close to laughing tears as I read the banana comments! It’s been a long time since I have found something so funny. Thanks for making my morning!

  • Erin

The comments on the banana slicer just made my week and I’m interested to read article on women!

  • Mandy

Best link round-up I’ve seen in a while! The banana cutter links had me trying to hold in my laughter so hard that I started crying. That probably freaked out everyone else at the coffee shop a little bit. And that Daily Beast article is so SPOT ON.

  • Amanda @ Once Upon a Recipe

I am obsessed with Stubborn Love too! Actually, the whole album is wonderful. And the banana slicer comments – too funny!

  • Stefanie @ Sarcastic Cooking

Hello Tracy. I am also a Lumineers obsessed lady.

  • Rachel W.

I love the Lumineers! Are you going to see them at Hardly Strictly this year?

  • Brittany Noelle

I have to be honest…I might be a little obsessed with The Lumineers as well. That album has been playing no-stop in my car for a solid 2 months (but now is broken up with a little Mumford & Sons as well)! Seriously obsessed!

Also…the banana slicer comments might have just made my day. No big deal…but yeah, pretty totes amazeballs! Thanks Tracy for my mid-day pick me up!

  • Megan

The banana slicer comments are hilarious! Thanks for starting my morning off with some laughs!

I really enjoy reading your “I love lists Friday” post with my Saturday AM coffee, since I work Mon-Fri and can sit and take my time catching up on podcasts Saturday. Your lists also give me a nice mix of fun topics and a few more topics for thought. And perhaps I’ll (finally!) clean my car this weekend, too?

  • biobabbler

Ah, some delightful treats in there, and since it’s Saturday, I actually get to go see them. Thanks!
On the topic of OCD, is this: http://letterology.blogspot.com/2012/09/obsessive-compulsive-designers.html =) Thought you might appreciate it.

  • Joline

    hey hey! LOVE your lists!!!

Also that Lumineers song is on REPEAT in my house! Seriously SO good!!

  • Lori

okay, i got to #5 and found ‘things they should have taught us in our senior year’ and saw the metric thingy and thought of you and Joy and think i’m remembering right that you are into metric and she isn’t? anyway, made me think of that podcast. gave me a good laugh. then, checked out the banana slicer and am sitting here alone on a saturday night, laughing my butt off! where do you find this stuff? i guess ‘where’ isn’t the exact right question. thanks for a couple of good laughs. let me get back to the list now 🙂 ps: i think being 50 is the new 30. that’s all.

  • Katerina from Psit Jewellery

Soooo… you were looking for banana slicers.

  • Jen

Banana slicer comments are too fun. Where did this idea come from of people targeting this one (absurd) product?? Someone must have launched a challenge. . . .

  • d'Auria

Tracy! I went to High School in Santa Cruz with Kylie! She lives in Portland now and I live in Seattle. Remember that time I took a super cute selfie (is it a selfie if someone else is in the picture?) with Joy at her book signing in the SF Marina. WHY WEREN’T YOU IN IT? Still sad about that. 🙁
