My Everyday Life: Week 18

Here’s what this past week looked like:

NEED CREATIVE SPACE. Always & forever.

Highlight of the week? Caramel Brioche Croutons!

Worst part of the week? Food poisoning!  I believe this shrimp burrito had something to do with it.

Cooper was sick a few days before so maybe it was a bug. In other words…IT SUCKED.

Since I was laid up in bed all Saturday, I missed the Supermoon. I did get to see it on Friday…Not the same.

This is Cooper’s PLLLLLLEASE face.

This is how he gets his aggression out on the chalkboard in the kitchen.

Cheers!

There was a trip over the Golden Gate Bridge this week.

I watched a random cat hang out in our backyard.

We got deli sandwiches for lunch one day.

We’re currently packing because we are moving!

Things are pretty chaotic around here.

Boots & a bicycle (not my bike).

Remy’s favorite spot in the house…the guest room! I’ll show you that soon.

Turkey Bacon BLT on Dave’s Killer bread.

Greek Salad and Amanda & Matthew holding hands in the background!

Ooooo food poisoning is the absolute worst! I am so sorry, hopefully you’re feeling better. You need to let us in on why you’re moving, Tracy! I was hoping you’d mention it on the latest Homefries podcast… ha that probably sounds a little weird. I just love your home and the way you’ve decorated it, and I’m so eager to see what the next one will look like!

  • Janet

So much to discuss here! 1. That need creative space sign is on Howard, right? Right by my office!! 2. I am glad you are feeling better! 3. You’re moving!? 4. DAVE’S KILLER BREAD! 5. Miss you! We need to catch up!

  • Benthe

You’re moving. That means that you can show us your new interior and maybe some interior shopping right ;)?

  • Rachael

Boo for food poisoning! Hope you’re all better now!
Exciting that you’re on the move! You’re current place looks amazing, so I can’t wait to see how you get creative on the new place!

    • Tracy

It’s the worst!! I hope to never have it again. And thank you! The new place is much different. It’s gonna take a lot of creativity, but I’m excited for some new challenges.

  • Marissa | Pinch&Swirl

I could deny Cooper nothing. ever. with that ‘plllllease’ face.

  • Nicole @ The Dirty Oven

Just Lovely! Totally forgot to take a pic of the moon. It was even super lovely this morning.
    Hope ya feel better…

  • Laura

Are you moving to LA? (please say yes!) ’cause then I have a decorating project for you (like you have any time..): my house. If you are staying up north please drop some tips on how to deal with a big house with carpet 🙁 (and very few furniture).

    • Tracy

Nooope! Still in the Bay Area. It would be awesome to live close to Joy though!

  • Sarah

I have a black cat named Remy, too!

  • Mallory

Oh my goodness, you are moving….how exciting! Good luck with the packing…don’t ya wish you could just wiggle your nose and poof…done! Great way to declutter and purge though….

  • Kelsey

    Good luck with the move!

  • holly

REMY on the pillow!!! so stinking cute.

  • jenn

i do hope you are feeling better! i absolutely adore the pitcher on your backyard table. please tell me it’s glass 😉 i have been searching for one for months now but can’t seem to find just the right one. good luck with the packing!

    • Tracy

It’s glass! I got it at Whole Foods. I think they sell them at the Container Store too!

  • PerBer

I hope you are feeling better!! I made the caramel brioche croutons for a dessert picnic with vanilla ice cream and strawberries and it was delicious! It was my first time making caramel so I was pretty nervous I was going to destroy the pot I made it in. fortunately I only destroyed a plastic spatula.

    • Tracy

oooh plastic spatulas and caramel don’t mix!! lesson learned. Thank you so much for trying it!

  • Rachel W.

I bet you’re movin over the bridge – the East Bay is the coolest! 😉

  • Alix

omg i’m so sorry you got food poisoning. UGH! The worst. And now the move too….you take care of yourself lady!!

  • Kiki

So sorry to hear you were sick. Bummer. Hope you’re feeling better!

On a different note, I love Dave’s Killer Bread! I actually visited their plant (or whatever it’s called) last summer.

Anyway, love your blog (especially your Friday posts, they’re awesome) and your podcast with Joy!

    • Tracy

      Ooooh lucky! What’s it like??

      • Kiki

Oddly enough the day I went they had a small kitchen fire so I didn’t really get to stick around long. But my sister, dad and I did manage to buy a few of the Sin dawgs and other goodies!

  • Julie

Oh man, can I buy your house then?

  • jackie @ marin mama cooks

Hi Tracey. Are you moving over to Marin?

  • Dottie

Moving!?! Squee!!! Please tell me you are moving 10 minutes from my house. Because that would be awesome. Almost as awesome as those sweet caramel brioche croutons. YUM!
