Im now the last person who doesn’t own or have Jerusalem on order. I forgot to order it with my last Amazon order a few weeks ago so now…darn. I’ve thumbed through it in person (but it’s cheaper online) and it’s beautiful.

I love the vegetarian friends and Jenny’s 100 lists. So true!

Thank for another fun list, Tracy!

  • Colleen Moran

    Hi Tracy –

Thank you so much for such a great blog, its always so upbeat, inspiring and creative. I love that you finish the week with a bang, so many bloggers seem to lose their enthusiasm after Wednesday.

!! Your timing is amazing. I JUST hiked (last weekend) w/a group to look for wild mushrooms, so now I know where wild, tasty mushrooms grow near my house (I am a biologist & nerdy cautious, so no worries), and you post the Mezzi Rigatoni with a Wild Mushroom Cream Sauce?!? AND we are trying to grow our own oyster mushrooms (took a 1/2 day class after the hike) via spore-inoculated, sterilized, wet-straw-in-a-bag (stored over our bathroom cupboard to benefit from shower mist). So, THANKS! =)

(I took a photo of the arrangement a classmate made of all the species we found, if you wanna peek http://trunc.it/mnuie And, btw, the giant white one on the left is probably a death cap!)

  • Jenny (VintageSugarcube)

I sooo love your Friday lists. My bf’s mom bought me the Jerusalem cook book for my bday. Most people only talk about the photography; the writing and stories about the people are my favorite parts. 🙂

  • Toni

The Jerusalem Book is currently my favourite cook book of all times. Every single recipe I have tried is and absolute taste sensation. You are in for a treat!!! x

  • April Mae

The vegetarian video–pretty spot on. There’s one more I’d like to add, “How do you get your protein?” I have gotten this sooo many times? I always want to say, “How do you get your fiber?”

  • Nicole

Ha, love that e-mail story! The teenagers in 2013 thing scares me for real.

  • Shawna

Love this, as always! We’re having an all Smitten Kitchen dinner party tomorrow night – so excited. Halibut, pork, butternut squash gallette, some sort of veg and a cookie tray.

Oh, and my 6th grader just got an iPhone 4. IT WAS FREE! What can I say?! (hiding face in shame) But I read her texts so it makes me feel like it’s ok. Just you wait til Cooper and my 5 year old son are in middle school – God only knows what they’ll have then!

So cool! Love the washi tape!

And the vegetarian one was HILARIOUS!!

  • Steph Cruz

Love your blog! Your lists are the best! I have a 13 year old daughter. She’s worried about grades, what college she wants to go to, and saving for her car.

  • Sally - My Custard Pie

Found a lot of inspiration and new places to visit from this list. Thanks 🙂

  • Cat

    “HAHAHAHA”
I just ordered Jerusalem and Joe Beef, I’m literally to the point of camping out at the mailbox.. I had to remind my-impatient-self that mail only comes once a day.

  • Liz

As everyone has mentioned already, Jerusalem is fantastic – plenty of delicious inspiration!

  • Sally

Always love your lists! And pink lemonade bars?!?! Whaaaaaaat!!!!
