On episode 101– Clearing the Air — of the Joy the Baker Podcast, Joy & I talk about how we do our shopping. There’s also a good story about farts, blazers & boys who want to tell you their feelings. Enjoy!

I also want to note that I’m taking some time off from my High Straightenence column on Homefries. I’m spending the time I would normally allocate for organizing towards summer time fun with Cooper. He’s at Camp Shutterbean and we’re loving it!  I’m also toying with the idea of bringing my High Straightenence posts over here to Shutterbean. Would you be interested in organizing posts?  Is there something else you’d like to see here? Let me know!

Also, thank you Tami for featuring Shutterbean on the blogs that you love series!

The 70 signs that someone do love you are so cute, tender and moving. Love them all.

  • Carla

70 Littles Ways You Can Tell Someone Loves You… I am too old for this shit.

Also organizing posts would be great, realistic ones, usually they aim at macmantions and stay at home whatevers.

  • irene

YOU ALWAYS HAVE THE BEST LISTS.

  • shana

Yes I would love to see the organizing posts on shutterbean – I used to like in the old days when you showed more home decorating etc. I love the recipes of course but I found those posts so inspiring.

  • Averie @ Averie Cooks

Great links, Tracey! And have a wonderful weekend! Heidi’s avocado action had me at hello, too when I saw it. And autocorrects are always good for some LOLs!

  • Stefanie @ Sarcastic Cooking

Ok. Hipster wedding definitely made me laugh. What kinds of beards are at the wedding? Too funny. It also made me rethink, kind of, my mason jar love. Secondly, too old for a lot of that stuff, yep. And I have no shame in admitting that! Thirdly, I would totally be all about high straightenence coming to Shutterbean! Happy Friday!

  • Reynaul

I would love to see the High Straightenence posts here! I was hoping that you would bring those posts back!

  • Shawna Greenway

Oh my god, you are so busted! I know I have heard you use the AMAZEBALLS. I’m thinking it was a Joy the Baker podcast.

  • Priya

Yes please to more home stuff on here! I love high straightenance and as I am so curious about your home as well so also love seeing your house. Bet you’ve done some great design in the new place…. Show me pleeeaaaase! It inspires me.

I enjoy whatever you post, but I would certainly love to see some more glimpses of your new home. 🙂

  • Monique Bartley

That awkward moment when you are getting glares from strangers as you laugh out loud in a library. The auto correct post… I’m dying.

  • Hannah

I love your organizing posts, I’ll read them anywhere you post them! I also love your style and think it would be fun to see some outfit/shopping/style posts. You mentioned in this week’s podcast that you wear a lot of staples, I tend to as well, but how do you keep them feeling fresh and new?

  • Katharine's Cookery

Great list! The awkward engagement photos are wonderful. Perfect way to cheer up and a gloomy day!

  • Debi @ That Crafty Lunch Lady

  • Petit Elefant

MWAH! Thanks for the love. Right back at you. xoxo

  • Courtney

I’d love to see your HS column here for a few reasons…

    1. I can tell you have a lot talents and a clever perspective even beyond cooking and baking and would like to read your unique spin on organizing.

    2. I always want to read your HS posts on the Homefries site but sometimes that site is a little slow and awkward on my phone so I don’t visit it as often as I should/want to.

    3. My favorite of your posts are the Friday lists and Sunday snapshots so if you threw some home-related stuff in too I think you’d have a really well-rounded and diverse blog.

    Anyway, I’ll be reading!

  • Mandy

I would LOVE to see your High Straitenance posts over here…love your blog and I find you and Joy the Baker very entertaining! Thanks for sharing your talents and tips:)

  • Sara @ Confectionary Tales

I loved discovering some of these links this week. Especially 70 little ways to say I love you and what happy people don’t do. Thanks for the great internet finds!

Oh, and I made baked/blogged about your chocolate donuts the other week and they lasted about 12 hours. SO GOOD. Thanks for an awesome recipe 🙂

  • Dior

I pretty much always covet your shoes in your “i love lists” pics. Any chance you could include a link (when possible )for your shoes with these posts? Thanks!

  • My Week in Pictures – Week 29 | Just One More Row...

[…] readers! (If you’re still around.) I was so excited to see that my last post was featured on Tracy’s weekly roundup last weekend. Also, shout out to Karen for the guilt trip about me not posting last […]

  • Katy

I LOVE your organizing posts on Homefries. Truthfully, they were the only reason I ever followed Homefries. PLEASE bring them over here.
