It changes everything! The light is so different at night. I love seeing the sun go down.

It’s also really interesting to experience all the different smells coming from people’s kitchens @ DINNER TIME!

The purple flower is from a butterfly bush. Very easy to grow and attracts lots of butterflies and hummingbirds.

I made your watermelon and cucumber popsicles, so yummy.

  • Beth

Evening sun is magical, so are evening walks, it’s like hitting the reset button. Your dad looks like a kind man I’m sure he’s the best grandpa ever! Hope you all had a great time in Tahoe!

Your photos are particularly amazing this week! (I was about to list my particular favorites but there are at least seven so that seemed silly. Always look forward to this post on the weekend!)

  • Amy /// The Anxious Hippie

How have I never noticed the Boom Boom Room sign in your dining room?! Love. Also how does Cooper get cuter every week?

  • Robyn

Tahoe! Magic. I loved driving through there. This week I am especially loving the two pictures: lines meet, birds chirp & also the second picture, the flower laying down in the sun. So so good. Happy weekend trip!

  • Nutter Buttersmith

Love your pictures and love listening to you w/ Joy the Baker…just started listening a week or so ago upon a recommendation from a long-lasting friend. I listened to a few of your first podcasts and heard you talk about potty training Cooper on a road trip to Tahoe. It’s so cool to see pictures of him now and pictures of all of you still enjoying Tahoe…and random awesome other things.

    Thanks for being cool!

    • Tracy

Ah! We were just reminiscing on the way up here about that potty training story! Hilarious!

I have those black and white patterned Gap pants too! I get so many compliments in them and I hope people are as lovely and complimentary towards you when you wear them!

  • Libby

As an optometric technician, it blesses my heart to see little ones in sunglasses!! Keep that up and keep Cooper safe from the sun!
