Your little guy is so cute, and that turkey sandwich looks amazing!

  • dana

Such a handsome boy! Gosh, he’s growing up quick. SO fun to watch him mature in your weekly posts : )

  • K

    *ahem, I recall a mention of a house tour …………. 🙂

    • Tracy

sigh… If I can squeeze some time in to do it, I will 😉

      • K

Yay! That wasn’t meant to come off rude. Your last place was fabulous, I’ve always wanted to see more of this one.
        Happy holidays.

        • Tracy

Oh I didn’t think it was. I would love to do more posts about my house, but I don’t have the time I need to do it.

  • Ronni

But he likes the Paleo pancakes? Hilarious. Kids, man. Kids.

  • Mira C

Oh my gosh, I am totally afraid of standing on grates too! Such a weird phobia.

  • Sasha

Truffle Cheese? Stop it. And pass some my way! 🙂

  • Kelly

do you have a dehydrator? recs on a brand?

  • Ellen W

I’m with Cooper – I can’t stand the smell of eggs either.

  • Jessica @ Living La Vida Holoka

That tea sounds amazing! I’ll have to look for it during my next trip to Trader Joe’s.

  • Jane M

Wow 1 day 19 degrees and then another day in a tank top? Wacky Weather! Your mantle is just gorg! Heart heart heart it! Feel better soon.

  • Amy

A lovely looking week. I hope you are feeling better though!
And I agree with Cooper; although I love eggs for dinner, I cannot stomach the smell at breakfast time. I will happily gulp down some paleo pancakes though 🙂

  • Jenna

Oh my gosh, Cooper looks so grown up in that last photo, seems like just yesterday you were posting baby pics of him! But agree with him on the eggs thing too, I can only eat them when I’m in the mood, definitely not a hangover/ sickness food for me as the smell always makes me feel worse!

    • Tracy

I get the smell of hard boiled eggs. OMG that’s the worst! But all I have to do is whip out a carton and before I’ve started cooking them he gets all grumpy. KIDS.

  • corrin

Pssst…what kind of headphones are those?

    • Tracy

They are skull candy! I really like them— the ear buds never work on my ears. Always falling out.

  • Linda

I love the “coffee” mug. Can you share where it came from?

  • Laura

Tracy! That tea is my absolute favorite! Every time I go to trader joes in December, I buy three boxes (one for my mother in law, one for my sister in law, one for me), so we can stock up for the winter. So good and reminds me of Christmas.

  • Becky

I think I’ve written a comment just like this before, but I have to repeat myself and say that watching the photos from your week is such a lovely thing, your photos really have a personal style. And when you post a picture of somewhere I’ve been or something I know what it tastes like I get this wonderful feeling of connection, even though I don’t know you. (I hope that didn’t sound creepy.) Anyhow: beautiful pictures, lovely blog!

  • ashleyj

the leaf picture reminds me of orla kiely 🙂

  • Elise

I need to move to California… Chicago winters are too much for me. Beautiful photos!

  • Heidi - Apples Under My Bed

Black, white, orange – favourite! The orange is so stunning, so earthy and just the best kind of orange…
    Heidi xo

  • Michelle

That leftover thanksgiving turkey sub situation looks amazing !

  • jamie @ arugulaholic

Cooper is getting huge! I hope you post more of your xmas decor!

  • Katelyn

I chuckled at Cooper’s height – my 3.5 year old daughter is 41 inches tall and people always think she’s older than she is… until she talks, then they look at me like they’re not quite sure why a 5 year old speaks like a 3 year old. Always keep ’em guessing! Happy holidays to you and yours.

  • HP

Girl, sign me up for the 19F. It is -30F here in Winnipeg today.

  • Mel

    Re:EGGS. Thought I’d share this.

My husband can’t eat eggs to this day. He tries them, over and over again, and nope. Makes him sort of sick. He also can’t stand the smell. His grandmother was the only person he would ever eat eggs for. He hated them, and would get sick later, but he loved her so much he ate them anyway.

Here’s hoping Cooper will grow out of it…but he may not! O.o

    • Tracy

It would just be nice to have another option for him. If he likes them, it will be awesome!

  • Mel

Ha ha, and I just realized the photo stored for me on the comments is also a foot shot. I must share the affinity of photographing down. 🙂

  • Kimberly

I have a cup of that tea in front of me as I read this! (Along with the 4 boxes in my desk. I’m so afraid it will disappear from their shelves and I will be without the only tea that I love as much as coffee.) Love your photos and your blog!

  • Traci

three similarities between us: 1) our name! 2) standing on grates is the worst. 3) I eat eggs, avocado and hot sauce at least twice a week! it’s the best breakfast/lunch/dinner.

  • Julie

This is the second time I’ve seen that tea in the last 10 minutes. I have to give it a shot.

  • Sara

Hi Tracy! I have a question: what brand earphones do you wear to exercise? My iPhone earbuds do not fare well in the sweat-inducing Florida sun. Thanks!
