Traci, the photo in front of Mt. Tam is stunning (you not the mountain!). Thank you for posting all these wonderful photos. Ok so I have to ask if you make your own coffee drinks at home, what brand machine you have and do you like it? Thanks so much for sharing tidbits of your week!!!
    Amy 🙂

  • Tami (Teacher Goes Back to School)

    Love these posts every week.

Mt Tam is one of my favorites. So is Stinson. I wish I lived closer, but it is my aim to get myself down there once a month this school year. Sacramento isn’t THAT far…. We’ll see! Keep posting photos to remind me.

If you are interested in scissors for lefties: http://bit.ly/1rPTMkE

PS – you are totally rockin’ that short hair/bangs action. I tried it and long bangs almost killed me. Damn cowlicks.

  • Jenny K

I always look forward to your Everyday posts. This week might be my favorite of all time. So many great captures!! Thanks for sharing your world with us. Have a great weekend!!

  • Jenn

Your lefty is batting righty! On another note, you get to hike in pretty awesome surroundings!

  • Pam

You are looking great Tracy! I love your new shoes.

  • Robin

KQED’s Forum released a segment about found letters and lists in 2013. The show was very interesting.

  • Millie l Add A Little

    Attack cat!!! Omg! Great shot!

  • stacy

As a lefty myself, I gave up trying to use left-handed scissors by second grade. Since then, I have always used right-handed scissors and was taught to cut my food with my right hand (i.e. European-style). I never learned the whole fork-switching thing that everyone else in my family did. But when I am chopping with a knife, I always use my left. I’m sure it’s interesting to watch Cooper. Love your Hasbeens!

  • Ella

Eeee, scissors and lefties just doesn’t sound like a good combo! Love that “never mind.” Ha!

  • Holly

On another note, I saw you in Better Homes and Gardens! How fun!

  • Katie @ The Surly Housewife

Busy week!! My little one has trouble with scissors also. She is more ambidextrous so she just switches back and forth. It’s tough being a lefty!! Congrats on being a bridesmaid. It’s so fun 🙂

  • bribedell

I’m a lefty but use scissors with my right. Just works better in my brain I suppose. I think I just got frustrated & taught myself with regular scissors!! Poor guy us lefties feel his pain!

  • Hilary

Is it weird the thigh shot is one of my favorites? The legging print is so lovely! Where are they from?

And Cooper is tres cool in those sunglasses!!

  • Reena

I just picked up that same dress/top from Anthro. Thanks for helping me figure out how to wear it through the fall! I love it!

    • Tracy

great with leggings too—and i’ve also layered it on top of a black maxi skirt. Super comfy!

  • Libby

A good friend of mine has a photo in “This Is Happening”. I love seeing it in your lineup! 🙂

  • Jessica H.

Love your hiking pics. They’re getting me excited for Fall hikes in the woods!

  • Amanda

That “smizing” photo is the best.
