My Everyday Life: Week 10

Here’s what this past week looked like:

Blossoms remind me of our wedding day.

I love how they litter the street. It’s like confetti.

A good cloud day.

This morning.

I really miss the afternoon light in our old house and after we trimmed some trees, I found it in our new house.

It makes happy hour even happier.

We ventured into the city to meet family for dinner in China Town.

It was Cooper’s first time.

We went on a little photo adventure.

This lady loved watching Cooper.

There were so many colors that caught my eye.

Cooper the dragon slayer. He edited this photo on my phone.

Gambling in the park.

Dinner at R & G Lounge was incredible. Will definitely be back!

Wild.

Making everything flat.

So good.

Heavens.

my everyday life week 10 || shutterbean

We have blooms at our house!

I want to steal Leslie’s hat.

And her kitchen.

I will be sad when blood orange season is over.

My mom made us tacos when we were in LA last weekend.

They are the best.

Hanging out. Reading on the couch.

I made a recipe with broccoli and it was SO GOOD. Stay tuned.

my everyday life week 10 || shutterbean

I shot the recipe for  Roasted Carrots with my new Fujifilm X-T1.  I am SO HAPPY with that camera.

I’m super impressed with the quality!

When I’m instagramming a #shutterbeandinner I have to squish it all together.

my everyday life week 10 || shutterbean

But this is how far apart we eat…and there’s hippie crystals involved…and a boy who picks out broccoli.

Organizing.

Trying on my bridesmaid’s dress!  I’m going to be in my brother’s wedding at the end of the month.

We’re up in Napa celebrating Casey’s birthday. Dinner at Bottega last night was amazing!

But first…

    Great photos!

  • Julie

You are looking hot in that bridesmaids dress! Work it!!

  • Cayla

Those doughnuts in the last photo look INCREDIBLE! What kind of doughnuts are they, and were in the world did you get them? I want them in my face.

  • Christine @ BookishlyB

I can’t wait to expose my son to cool places that have more “culture” than where we live (a suburb of the suburbs of LA). The blossoms are great- the anticipation that leads up to spring, even in the milder places of California, is still pretty great.

  • Erica

Oh! You make me miss home. I live in Napa, but I’m in DC for 4 months. It’s cool to be here, but I will be so happy to go home on May 1st. I’m sad to miss most of the Bay Area’s spring.

  • Beth

You look so great in the bridesmaid dress! Loving your new do too! I’m struggling trying to pick accessories for my simple wedding dress and I keep thinking “What would Tracy pick?”

  • Christine

I want to steal that kitchen too!

  • Cady

If I had to write an amazon review of Shutterbean, it would say Tracy faithfully posts on schedule without ever sacrificing quality of content. She’s totes amaze.

  • Emily @ Life on Food

First your dress is so pretty. I need that pastry…almond croissant?? And the cherry blossoms. Dreaming of spring here in the Northeast. We still have two feet of snow on the ground.

  • Rhonda

Wow, don’t even know where to start with this week’s batch! I love the bridesmaid dress — beautiful cut. Cooper is quite the young man! Envious of your blooms — we’re just warming up on the east coast. Hope to see some blooms soon! Have a great week Tracy!

  • Jane Cahn

This is my most favorite week yet and it’s only MARCH!!!! 42 more weeks to go! I can’t wait!!!!

  • Olena

I would love to see a post about how you organize your recipes! Or maybe you’ve done one already and I just forgot? 🙂

  • Abby

Lovely photos, Tracy! Love those doughnuts 😀

  • GP

Don’t you love Bottega! One of my favorite places and Bouchon across the street is pretty tasty as well. The pics of the coffee and of the doughnuts look like Ritual Coffee at the Oxbow market, another wonderful place. Your beautiful pictures make me smile and look forward to a trip to San Francisco and Napa.

    • Tracy

Yes it was Ritual! Bouchon is good- although our last time we didn’t LOOOOOVE it. We had a soup that didn’t have any flavor. Womp womp!

  • Michelle

we LOVED R&G Lounge when we visited SF. My only complaint was there were only 2 of us eating and we wanted to try so much more!

Love the organizing of recipes how do you store them?

  • jessica mcleod

I love your Chinatown pics. Best part of San Francisco (not counting the bridge).

  • Trude

So many pretties! I’ve been wanting to rent and try out the XT1, looks awesome! Love that selfie with your mini mi. 🙂
