I’m a sucker for Orla Kiely at Target. I mostly just fondle all of the cosmetic bags but never buy anything (I already have one her awesome toiletry bags but then every season a new prints comes out and I’m like ahhhhhhhhh PRETTY).

I lost my keys so many times this week. My car battery also died twice.

Cooper was late to school as a result.  Uggh.

We had this saying on a bumper sticker on our car growing up.

No, not embarrassing at all when you’re a kid.

But now I am an adult and I have Bill Murray on my car, so you know… life is weird.

This made me laugh.

Yes to Orla Keily. I can never get enough. Definitely a want and not a need but they make me happy.

  • Lynn

So many beautiful photos this week. Especially love the persimmons and rain drops. Would love to know where you got the cat scratching post. Also, I do the same thing at Target. Just visited her make-up bags yesterday.

  • Marisa

I love Orla Kiely stuff. I have a bad habit of purchasing those makeup bags and then using them to hold art supplies. Then I try to justify it by saying that I need one for pens, one for pencils, one for markers…

    It goes on and on.

If you haven’t ventured to the yoga/fitness aisle at Target, there’s an Orla Kiely tote bag over there that’s pretty stinkin’ awesome.

  • Danielle

Thanks for showing us the beauty everywhere. This post is always so soothing. I’d love to know where you got that scratchy post, too. It’s hard to find stylish ones sturdy enough for a wild Abyssinian.

  • Jillk

Yes! I’m also wondering where you bought that scratching post in the last photo. I’ve been looking for one that’s not an eye sore.
I really enjoy these week posts… a beautiful life you lead!

    • Tracy

I actually got it at target. I really didn’t like the base so I painted it…and it kept falling over so I painted a rock and glued it to the bottom so it wouldn’t fall over!

  • Robin O.

Hope this doesn’t sound creepy or anything but I just wanted to say you have really pretty feet. Love your My Everyday Life posts.

  • Amy

I pinned so many of these pictures! So great, Tracy. Thank you for sharing. I also wanted to let you know that I made your Aunt’s sweet potato dish for Thanksgiving and it was such a hit, as were your Mom’s Baked Artichoke Squares. I made them for TG and my husband’s bday party this past weekend. My father-in-law looovvveesss them and ate the few leftover ones for breakfast! Your blog is such a happy addition to my life 🙂

    • Camille

Amy you have summed it up beautifully, Tracy’s blog is definitely a happy addition to my life also. The girl crush lives on & on & on ………..Forever!

  • jessica mcleod

That open studio looked amazing. It’s my favorite time of year where you live, Flipflops 12 months out of the year!!!! Your pictures have the best mood. I wish my cat liked his scratcher.

    • Tracy

i wish my cats ONLY SCRATCHED on that scratcher! we passed by your old apartment on greenwich last week. they painted the outside beige. lost a lot of its charm 🙁
