Oh my gosh, I just bought that same cat feeder! Game changer is right! I call her Little Mama.

  • Kristen

Right on with the “Man Cave,” article, the term always makes me cringe. Perfect list as always, look forward to these every week!

  • Jane M

After my 2nd child, my hair fell out and came in gray – I battled my hair for 25 years before GIVING INTO THE GRAY! I prolly get a complement every week now! I have very thick hair, so that helps too – and I love wearing makeup. Without makeup I may just blend into the walls! Happy Labor Day weekend!

My mom bought me a Yonanas machine a few years ago. I’m sad to report that I have only ever used it a handful of times because it is so messy and such a pain to clean. Also, whenever I think of using it, it’s always a time when I don’t have frozen bananas in my freezer. For me I just prefer a blender, food processor, or my ice cream machine. If you get one and post recipes, maybe it will inspire me to dust mine off and give it another go! Have a great weekend!

  • Sasha

How does the cat feeder work with two cats? I want to get one, but my older cat is already eating the younger cats share of food. Did you get two? or are your cats able to share one bowl of food?

    • Tracy

They are sharing one bowl and so far it’s working out. What I like about it is that it will dispense small portions over a time period instead of all at once. If it’s all at once then my cat Ella will eat all of it and throw it up.

  • Pam

Yes on the Yonanas machine I’ve had it years and years…with walnuts & cacao nibs-fav

  • Susan

I was born with a small birthmark on my scalp. My hair has always come in gray at that spot. So I was a baby with a spot of gray hair. As I got older I learned to embrace that little bit of uniqueness, that streak of gray. I have more gray now, but I’ve been lucky that the way mine has come in has looked liked streaks and highlights. I actually used to have people ask me where I got it highlighted. I made a decision when I was in my late 30s, that I had other things I would rather spend money on. Dying my hair was not one of them. So I have never dyed it. I am now 53 with a chin length layered bob, and love my hair. It’s simple to maintain, takes 5 minutes to blowdry and I can even air dry if I want a little wave in it. My hair is very healthy and I get compliments on my gray streaks all the time still.

  • Rebeca

I’m in my early 30’s and I’m starting to get some noticeable gray hairs here and there. Last year, my hairdresser commented that we women are lucky dyes exist… Ten minutes after telling me how handsome my brother looks with gray hair (he’s younger than me and he’s had it since his 20’s, there’s a lot of it now). Such B.S.! I won’t be dyeing mine.

SO true about the female butcher. I was the manager for a butcher department at Whole Foods (oh and that…) and I can’t tell you how many times I was passed over, looked through, told that I shouldn’t being doing this “dirty work”, laughed at, and called “sweetheart” or “honey”. People are ignorant.

  • Megan

I’m going gray as a mule (to borrow Homer Simpson’s phrase), and I’m definitely embracing it. I’m all for women coloring their hair however they please — it’s just not for me at this point. That does not stop my hairdresser from mentioning it every time; she’s not having as easy a time with it.

  • Jamie

    I have a head of crazy, brown-black hair that’s been going salt-and-pepper for 10 years now, and I like it! I can’t wait to be all white/grey. = )

  • chris

I have had a hankering for yonanas too! Let me know if you do get one. I was going to get one and then my costco stopped carrying them. Thinking about ordering online.
