  • Paula

I am loving these Monday posts and have used them as inspiration to start my own weekly to do lists that I make up on Sunday for the week. Now that I am off work until baby #2 arrives I find I am needing to make even more lists just to keep track of my thoughts and goals for the week.

Just a few things on my list this week:

    Finish my daughter’s preschool application
Make energy bites (peanut butter cup recipe from minimalist baker)
    Plant mums
Tackle my pile of library books and read more
    Clean and purge my closet
    Clean and purge kitchen cupboards
Do at least 2 baby bump workouts this week

    Happy Monday!!

    • Tracy

Ahhh! Preschool application. I wrote mine in pencil and erased like a mofo before I committed things to pen. I photocopied his application and I have it in a file somewhere. It’s really fun to look at see what I wrote about him before I knew what he was like in school/with other kids. We learned a lot about each other after preschool!

Come out of the packing/moving/unpacking fog
    Recycle all empty moving boxes
Get everything unpacked (doesn’t necessarily have to be put away, I just can’t look at boxes anymore)
Start playing around with furniture placement
Walk to the Saturday morning farmer’s market in our new neighborhood
Menu plan and gear up to start Whole30 next week
Drink water, eat something green (stop living off of delivery FTLOG!)

    • Tracy

Wow! You just moved. That’s exciting. New things! New routines! New light. Remember that it takes awhile to set up a home. Take your time and try to enjoy the process.

    • India

Your last thing on your list is my FAVORITE!

  • Jennie

On top of it this week – I woke up this morning thinking, has Tracy posted her intentions yet?
-send a thank you note to my sister in law
    -get a form notarized
    -wipe out the fridge (ew)
-take two returns to the post office
-write a guest post (ummmm, but what about?)
    -join the zoo!

    • Tracy

I hate getting things notarized….but I also get super envious of their stamp and I wish they would let me stamp…..

  • Rachel

The choice between dance class and hike is a no brainer for me- DANCE! Also, I second your “ugh” about insurance. Isn’t that one of the worst things about being an adult 🙁

  • Jenna

Reading your to-do list just reminded me to get started on mine!! Guess I better open a new tab and pay some bills lol!

  • Jamie

I went on vacation and let me life blow up. SO, this week I intend to:

    – Get back on track with my #100daysofplayingwithpaper project
    – Put away my dance clothes and costumes
    – hang my dance jewelry (hooks and racks on the wall)
    – set up the sewing table in the studio
    – plan meals for the week to use up the TON of vegetables I bought this weekend
    – balance my budget

    Happy Mother’s Day, Tracy. = )

  • Jamie

One of my intentions last week, this week and ongoing, is to blog weekly. I moved from London to Sydney two years ago, have since got engaged, married and am now 26 weeks pregnant with our first baby. 2017 is a year of huge change for me and I feel that having an outlet in the form of a blog is going to help me through, despite being so far from home and the support of my family.

Have a read, I’d love your thoughts.

    • Tracy

It’s always fun to look back on. I’m sure you won’t regret doing it!!

  • Megan

    More water–yes!! Here goes!:

    -Book hotel for Indiana stay-cation
-Pick up items for our office food drive
-Make pizza together @home instead of going out for date night
-Figure out what to wear to work event with clients
-Make rice krispy treats, because why not.
    -Plant more vegetables in greenhouse
    -Lift some weights, already!
-Go for it–dye hair pastel pink for the weekend! (it’s only a 4 wash commitment)
-Make it to the farmer’s market for opening day (Saturday)

    • Tracy

      mmmmpizza
      mmmmmricekrispytreats
      oooooh pink hair!

      i gotta lift weights too…sigh!

  • Melissa

Love this list! Also, thank you thank you thank you for reading my mind. I just Googled your teriyaki chicken after seeing it on your Insta-stories a couple times now (I know, I’m a creep). Excited to see it — it looked soooooo good!

  • Patricia

Ahhh. Love love love this inspiration. Intentions of the week. As I’ve been waiting for this to incorporate into my BuJo I started in December 16.
will start asap with my list and find it cool to compare to the previous week (what did I plan, what did I do instead), as sometimes life gets distracted and it seems this is the kind of focus one need to get back control over “life is what happens when you are making plans”. Thank you, Tracy.
