My friend Jessica was in town this week and I had her help me with my closet!

She had me try on all of my clothes through the process we put 40+ new outfits together.

The best part is that I have given new life to some of my old stuff and I also got rid of a few bags of clothes that don’t serve me any longer. Thank you, Jessica, for teaching me so much about proportion and shoe pairing. Your brain is full of goodness, I appreciate you! I have a list of items to help complete my wardrobe and some homework to do. I am secretly excited!

This week I went on Instagram stories LIVE and wrote people’s names for 30 minutes.

I also wrote words that I like writing because someone asked me that.

It was fun! I’ll do it again.

    Good morning!

Love the shots from this week, especially all the happy, colorful flowers. And your eats look delicious.

I always have reflection time after viewing your Sunday posts for all the little things I am grateful for. Though gratitude journaling is a daily practice I actively implement, the whole process feels a little more special when I get a glimpse into your life/”gratitudes” and have photos to look at and make me smile 🙂

  • Jessica

I think your unknown flower is a purple Shasta daisy. Just planted some today.

Love your posts, always inspirational, crafty and with beautiful photos!

  • Emily

SO jealous of all of the flowers. We are barely budding here. Please come Spring. Until then I am going to live through these pictures.

  • Emily

Love the double exposure photo Tracy!

  • cat

Love the deer resistant plant list with your drawings! We’ve got some nibblers here, too, so it’s nice to see what would be safe to try and grow.

  • Hannah

Would love to hear more about the process you used to go through your closet…I’m super intrigued!

  • libby

I love your drawing of the flowers… I’d love to give myself a daily challenge of illustrating something like that just to get more into the habit.

  • Abbey

Love the poppy and all the other blooms- I’ve been taking pictures of flowers out the wazoo recently! California is so beautiful in spring (and summer, and fall, and winter…).
I was so intrigued by the clothes-trying-on and outfit-making! Do you think you & Jessica could summarize some of her ideas on the blog sometime? I definitely need some pointers on how to figure out what’s missing and what I have in spades.
Thanks as always for the my everyday life posts, they’re my favorite.

    • Tracy

Oh I’ll have to ask her! Would be fun for sure 🙂

    • Jessica

Abbey, I’m working on a quick overview of my processes that I’ll share with Tracy soon! Thanks for your interest!

  • Kim

Ditto on Abbey’s comment about Jessica and her clothes/outfit tips. Would love to see this on the blog sometime!
