My Everyday Life: Week 22

Here’s what this past week looked like on My Everyday Life- Week 22:

A new perspective.

A new workspace.

I am hoping it changes some of my habits for the better.

It means I have more space to do stuff like this without having to move it so we can eat dinner….

I talked to the woman who owns this orange mini cooper.

It’s called “Pumpkin.”

SHE LOVES IT and so does her older kids….except when they have to cram in the back cuz they’re 20-year-old boys.

The food pictures in this post make me wish I could pull up a chair to your table! Wow WEE! Can’t wait to see what this week brings. Your kitties are sweet as well.

  • Priya

Love love love your succulents and also the notes and bouquet! Just wondering whose those legs are? Surely they aren’t yours… they look very brown (like mine and I am Indian!) plus there are odd neon socks?!
Those girls are pretty much at my level of painting nails! I have to allow time for a shower after I paint nails so the bits on my skin soak and peel off! Yep, I am 37.

    • Tracy

yeah those are my legs. i think the filter on the photo made my legs darker than they are and i’m wearing two different socks!
sometimes i’m OK with painting my nails and sometimes i have no patience!!!!!! when i have no patience they look like hers lol

      • Priya

Wow! You went for odd neon socks? You have come a long way since I first started following you and listening to the podcast with Joy! (Which by the way I still miss. I enjoyed relistening to a few – Mos Def and Boozy Susan were faves- but then even they disappeared ).

        • Tracy

          Yeah….major sigh!
life is too short to care if your socks match. this is what the grown up version of me thinks! 🙂

  • Evelyn

Tracy, I love that you wear two different socks on your walks…it made me so happy! Also, those burrito bowls look incredible!! How do you make the rice that goes in them? Is there a recipe on the blog for those bad boys? (I’ll check it out once I publish this message… #DoingThingsBackwards). Your new workspace is inspiring and fresh…love it!

  • Christine

I think if I randomly found a note that said “take better care of yourself” I’d cry (after I instragrammed it, duh).

Your succulents look fantastic! I just planted zinnias, too. They remind me of my mother’s gardens.

  • Cat

    Love your succulent arrangements!
They remind me of a favorite place – the succulent garden within the botanical gardens in golden gate park. Do you ever go there? We used to walk there often and marvel at all the shapes and colors. Natural sculptures!
    I sure miss California.

    “Dyeing Rampage” – Love it!

The pictures of their nails made me gasp! 🙂 You are a beautiful photographer. I enjoy the captions as well!
