Well, at least we had a tree up this year!

I got most of my holiday cards sent out this year. We ordered ours from Minted as per usual!

In a daze while Christmas shopping…

Tracy, I’ve loved your blog for a long time and I was saddened to read about your Mom’s passing. It’s a loss that splits you open.

We used to be away for holidays when my stepdad was alive. We went to a lively household with lots of noise and fun. But things do change and some years it’s hard.
Now, many years later, Mom has moved 250 miles closer and it’s just the three of us…Mom and my husband and me. We enjoy each other. We are grateful for what we have.

Wishing you so much peace. Just keep goin’ with it!

A dear friend of mine got word, recently, that she has cancer. I’m bringing her dinner after her surgery later this week but I was also looking for a breakfast item that I could make to bring because I believe in going the extra mile. Especially when you’re dealing with a dear friend who is fighting something very scary.
I think your mom’s coffee cake is perfect. Thank you for linking to it.
