I used this derma roller this week. My skin feels softer. It was weird at first but I’m gonna keep using it to see what the fuss is about. Anyone else into it?

Also! Been using Castor Oil on my lashes & eyebrows to help growth and I’m seeing results.  I bought a few mascara wands to dip in and apply. I like that it’s natural and I do it whenever I feel like it which is not every day.

    Anne Lamott is AMAZING

I DETEST Simon Sinek – such an extraordinarily shallow, myopic view of millennials. I don’t know a single person who wants beanbags instead of healthcare in the workplace, or who’s looking for constant accolades instead of quietly struggling to pay off their student loans. (For the record, I’m 31 and a social worker.) I’m disappointed that you endorse his ideas.

Did you watch that video? I really appreciated his honesty about how the future is being shaped by screens/social media. I think it’s smart to figure out how to manage the future when we have built a system filled with unrealistic expectations through social media. I liked what he said about patience. The youth is so focused on making impacts that they don’t understand that impact doesn’t happen right away. There’s no patience when we live in a world with instant gratification. I think it’s important for us as parents to understand that if we continue to let our kids be babysat with screens and give them screens before they are emotionally and developmentally ready, we will have to figure out a way to manage the repercussions. My son has to live in this future, so seeing how other people think about that is interesting to me.

I’m intrigued by the idea of dermarolling/microneedling, but I’m worried about cleanliness issues. How do you clean yours & what do you do to prep your skin before use?

    • Tracy

wash your face first. sanitize the needles. youtube is filled with tutorials!

  • Robyn

Sorry if this is too personal, but did you ever regain hearing in your ear? I remember you mentioning it a few years ago. Your link above reminded me of it.
