My friend Leslie was in town visiting from Texas. We went to the De Young Museum.  The last time I went was with my Mom. I used her membership card and we both got in for free. It felt like she was looking out for us.

As I get older, the more I think about my diet, the less it becomes about how I look and more about eating for health. I love the quote “The food you eat can either be the safest and most powerful form of medicine or the slowest form of poison.” There is a lot of confusing information out there. I found that the best thing is to look to the science. I really like the book “How Not to Die” by Dr. Michael Greger. Don’t be intimated by the length – it’s laid out really well so you can easily go through it quickly if you like. Much love and peace to you and your family.

It was such a good and beautiful and effortless and important day. I am so proud of you and love you so, friend❤️

  • Megan

    Love your camellia photo.

I’m on a bread kick lately toobut I just taught myself how to make sourdough bread and it’s SO GOOD so I’m telling myself it’s totally ok to eat it at every meal. I’ll drop bread some other time.

Bread is the only carb I love so starting the Plant Paradox program for my acid reflux was a bit scary until I discovered his grain free muffins. I can do this grain free plan forever with those and they even travel well for plane food. I selfishly want you to try it so I can see what recipes you come up with! Much easier than Whole 30. ❤️Always love when your post comes! Thank you! Lauren

  • Carrie Kelleher

Do you always bring your clipboard grocery shopping? I’d love to see it up close! Please!! Thanks, Carrie Oh, and what robe were you guys wearing? Looks so cozy!

  • Dayna

Love your posts Tracy. Keep killing it, and keep self-caring 😉

  • Abbey

Love that last picture with the excited people shadows! I also enjoy hearing how you keep reminders of your sweet mom around, and it’s inspiring to see the things you share about her and about your grief process. I love the idea that Cooper wears her cozy warm robe- like being wrapped in a hug!

  • Katie

Love the idea of going off grid for a weekend. I do heavily rely on my phone for pictures; do you just put your phone on airplane mode?
