Saturday marked the first time Casey & I left Coop to be babysat!
My parents watched him while we saw Zack and Miri Make a Porno (super funny!)
The next morning we woke up to a wonderful breakfast made by my Mom!
We hung out in our pjs and watched the little froggy sleep:

I went to a baby shower on Sunday afternoon. We drove back home and relaxed for the rest of the night.
First date night out with the baby was a success! It sure does take a lot of planning/packing to spend the night away from home! But it was totally worth it. I felt like a human again!
Now this week is all about getting my dishes ready for Thanksgiving. And of course- Giving thanks!
I am making:
-Creamed Spinach
-Yams
-Pumpkin Tiramisu
What are you making?

I'm making reservations. Last year we hosted and it was expensive and a pain in the butt. This year jparks and I are heading to Parcel 104 for a full Thanksgiving spread.
I am thinking of making a turkey breast and a few pies for later that night when we're ready for more, but have no leftovers to pick at.
regan- Parcel 104 looks awesome! Have you been there before? let me know- could be a good date night for the future! The only thing about going out for thanksgiving is the lack of leftovers...perhaps that's a good thing? nah!
Look at those eggs, I definitely see where you get it! Baked eggs are the best.
Stop by my blog and check out my meal for the big day. Today was post one of three, filled with yummy delights for Turkey day.
Is... is there any possibility of getting that egg recipe? Because it looks amazing.
I'm going to attempt a pumpkin spice bundt cake http://www.epicurious.com/...ith-Buttermilk-Icing-233011
Best of luck on your dishes.
deb- my mom is getting super inspired by the internet and the food network! She's totally obsessed with Ina Garten- and is trying out most of her recipes. It's really fun to see her get soo stoked about food!

It's very good! Enjoy!
Oh my goodness, the little froggy is too precious; what beautiful photos you captured of him.
I'm not sure what I'm making for Thanksgiving; my husband and I just decided today that we really can't leave town for the holiday, so this will be my (our) first Thanksgiving without one of our families. I definitely have some meal planning to figure out!
I made your cranberry bread last night to share at work and it is fantastic. thanks for the recipe.
So happy I had my pups for a sleepover. Nana and Papa are in heaven, loving that little boy. When can we babysit again?!!! To tell everyone the truth, Tracy has inspired me to cook again. Her
creativity and enthusiasm are infectious. I can't wait for the Thanksgiving food fest at my house!
Love,Mom

Those eggs, and that baby, look delicious.
I'm making a lot, but the thing I'm most excited about is the vanilla-bean cheesecake with candied pecans and salted caramel sauce. So excited.
