halloween is in the air!

I was anticipating that I wouldn’t get the opportunity to decorate my house for Halloween this year since I have a little sprout on the way…but since I’m on maternity leave I was able to get the mantle done and a few things put up around the house.

There’s one week left til baby is “expected” to make his arrival!!!

Thanks to Martha Stewart’s Crafts over at Michael’s and a little help from Target…I was able to this off. It’s so much fun!

For all of you that know me…it’s obvious why I wouldn’t like this kitchen right? I am a high contrast- B&W with bold colors type of person. I am not a warm tone….autumn colored person. I consider a panda my “power” animal for obvious reasons- because not only are they cute, but they go with EVERYTHING!

dear white, tacky- yet tasteful christmas tree-

i miss you.  you made my living room so cheerful and happy the past month or so.  now i am left with an empty space that is having an identity crisis.   if only it was OK to have christmas trees in january, february, march and april……

missing you….can’t wait to see you next year. will you be decorated in blues again?
