I was going through my photo archives recently and realized the last time I deliberately posted about Everyday Magic was back in 2024. Since then, a lot of life has happened. There’s been grief, change, beauty, exhaustion, growth, and many moments where I’ve had to remind myself to keep paying attention.
Last year, I started writing down everyday magic and “Tiny Little Joys” in one of my planners, thanks to The Joy Reset book written by my friend MC. You can see some of my pages over on The Handwriting Club if you’re interested.
Here’s some magic from the past:

Everyday Magic 02
If you’ve been going through it too, I hope these photos remind you that there’s still magic worth noticing. Sometimes paying attention is how we keep going.
Thankfully, there’s still magic to experience in this world.
Here we go!
MAGIC:
When a friend gives you roses from her garden, and they’re wrapped in a damp paper towel and foil, it makes you feel like a little kid again!

Finding love when you need love.

Having the tools to make last-minute Easter eggs.

Finding letters while thrfiting. (I always wonder what they spelled)

Shoes that make a statement.

A double goldfish.

Seeing balloons in the sky. It’s a happy/sad feeling.

A sliver of light on a sliver of time.

Photobooth giggles.

Blossom litter.

How kids draw eyelashes.

A FREE and hopefully not haunted mirror on the side of the road.

Helping a friend grow their garden.

Finding sunshine in a store.

When your phone takes a photo of something without you knowing, and it’s beautiful!

The stickers at Trader Joe’s.

When you get to experience the biggest bloom yet.

Sunsets in parking lots.

Tea that changes colors when you squeeze lemon juice into it.

Finding hand-painted rocks while on a walk.

Reading inspirational graffiti while stuck in traffic.

When a dog wears a glow-in-the-dark collar.
When you get a perfect edge piece of a treat… sometimes it takes a while 😉

Capturing a still flame.

How faces light up in the car at night.
Perfectly sharpened pencils and the color mess they make.

Being able to hold three years in your hands.

Getting a 5-star review.

Spending time making art with someone 20-something years old than you.

Paper chains and their ability to brighten up a room, and how regulating it is for your nervous system to make them.

Standing in the right spot.

Epic thrift score (OF LE PENS!!!).

A friend with a video projector.

Reflections in water at night.

A note from the universe handed to you by a stranger.

Stumbling upon a hopscotch game.

Finding a swing where you least expect one.

A chance to see a butterfly up close.

A cat, in the cutest position.

Colored shadows.

A table full of craft mess.

Finding details that delight you in old movies (this is from 9-5).

A snow cone on a hot day.
A homemade birthday card.

When your glasses make a rainbow.
A friend with a peach tree.

The colors and patterns you see from an airplane.

A family huddle.

A good color scheme in a handmade blanket.

Pink hair over grays.

When the last lightbulb standing has a message for you.

When the hills turn golden in California.

Sitting under a ring of redwoods.

When life makes you laugh.

When you find a book from your childhood.

When road signs make a story.

A hidden message from your Mom.

When a photo is timeless.

Fun socks.
Making a rainbow out of pens.
Accidentally matching.

When you’re able to see and capture the beauty in the everyday.

Remember:
