A new year & a new photo project because I refuse to stop using my camera regularly! I'm going to call this series- My Everyday Life.
It's not a photo everyday; it's a collection of pictures from the week.
What you will see: moments of time, food, prettie things, details of the world around me & a few self portraits too! It's like 365 food but with less food and more living.
Let the fun begin!
This is what this week looked like:
On a walk with my boys.
What I see to the right when I'm doing dishes.
Juicing grapefruits.
Laundry in progress.
A bit of sunlight with a side of salami.
What the tub looks like if we don't clean up the toys after bath time.
Shadows & leaves.
A little Missoni from Target & my magenta scarf from the Scarf Shop.
Chocolate Bundt Cake. (recipe soon!)
Hand.

You are awesome. I love this idea! P.S. I want to dive into that bundt cake.
Love the look of the Kale slaw. I'm about to start some kale in my garden!
Let me know how it goes. I was thinking of doing the same!
I like your dish washing up area :)
I love how you capture the simple moments in your life and make them look so beautiful. This is such a great idea! What camera are you using?
Thank you much! A canon 7d is what I use.
Love the everyday photos. I especially love the looks of that bundt cake and can't wait for the recipe. I have my shallots and garlic in the same container as you. Love Antropologie.
Bed making and sheet changing, not my favorite thing to do but glad it's only a once a week chore. I wonder if they will ever invent a machine to take care of chores like that.
I am loving this weather, aren't you? I took kids to the pool yesterday. Can't beat reading Gone with the Wind in the warm sunshine while sitting in a pool chaise. Going out to run Tennessee Valley today.
Happy Sunday!
Love it! Awesome snapshot (literally!) into your life. I have been coveting those ceramic pint container thingies... Anthro, right??
Totally anthro!! I couldn't resist!
Great idea!!! Love it and your dress!
great idea! love the pics & your cute outfit with the bold colors!
This is a great idea Tracy! I loved your photo a day project, but know it must have been hard to keep up with. Your blog gets better and better all the time:)
thank you soo much Gwen! That makes me feel really special :)
Ooo, I'm excited for this series! Can't wait for the cake recipe!
This coming week!! :)
I love it, Tracy! Can't wait to see more!
I love this! I started your daily food photo project on January 1 and am having so much fun with it already :)
Awesome!!! Good luck this year!
This looks like a lovely series! (I am especially partial to the bundt cake) Look forward to seeing more!
I think a pretty kitchen window makes doing dishes that much easier...love this!
Truth! I used to have a view outside a florist & bank when Casey and I first moved in together. The people watching was DELIGHTFUL! Now I just watch squirrels :)
Fantastic!
I've started a similar photo a day of my life for this year. Realised I had only a handful of photos from my 20s so it was time to change!
PS The Missoni and scarf outfit = colour win!
Thank you!! I'm kind of obsessed with those colors right now. And teal!
I love your life. It looks so chilled-out and fun
Great photos! I'm doing a similar sort of project on my blog right now and having so much fun with it :)
My favorite picture is the kitchen sink view... but I love all the photos! Yep I do. Are those baskets in porcelain from Anthropologie? I love those! I need those!
Oh my! This is absolutely fabulous. I love the colours and especially the kitchen sink view. You are incredible and such a huge inspiration!! I love your blog!
that bed looks so cozy. the cakes looks delish. the little egg carton containers in your window are purely adorable. are they from anthro?
xoxo
That picture of the salami is stunning. I don't think I've ever seen such pretty cured meat. And this is coming from a girl whose dad makes homemade bacon and pancetta.
Your pictures have the prettiest colors in them.... I've been so wrapped up in b&w photography lately so they really stand out for me! Can't wait to get some more photo inspiration from you!
So totally excited about this. I'm sure it's gonna be gorgeous.
Also, that cake is so pretty. LOVE the flower in the middle.
Love the idea! I'm also so relieved to know that your sons bathtub looks exactly like my sons bathtub RIGHT NOW! Yay for real life pictures!
2012 is all about REAL LIFE!!!!!!!!!!
Such gorgeous photos. Loved your last project and looking forward to this one as well.
I love it. And you've totally inspired me to do my own photo-a-day project this year.

Thanks for the continuing inspiration!
Fantastic! I'm so glad I can inspire! Good luck and remember to enjoy the process!
Oh wow I LOVE this idea! Maybe it will force me to get out of my comfort zone with my camera.
Get out there and shoot!!
I can't decide what I'm loving more. The flower in the bundt cake is such a simple but gorgeous idea. The hand! SO CUTE! I also think it's super important to keep your dishwashing area full of beautiful things. Dishes suck, so you gotta have something nice around to take your mind off it.
But I think what I love most of all is that you're doing this photo project in the first place. Bravo!
Thank you so much, Brittany!
YAY! Love what you picked for the photo project! Your blog and personal style just all screams quality, didn'tcha' know? I mean, your world is completely TIGHT and ORGANIZED and RIGHT, so I love to see it all in action.
BTW: I wish I were a folk singer because "Sunlight and Salami" would totally be the name of my first album :)
Wow, thanks! Sunlight and Salami! I wanna be a groupie.
I love this new series.... Great idea!
Your son is ADORABLE!
Tracy I love that you are going to keep doing your "daily" photos; love this new format, and cannot wait to tag along!
Hi Tracy,
I just found your blog and I'm hooked! Your photography is amazing and I can't wait to try the Kale Slaw recipe and will be looking forward to that 'to die for' Chocolate Bundt Cake recipe! I love the way you placed the flower in the middle of the cake!
Yes! I am so excited for these photos! You're so talented and creative in so many mediums, but your photography is GORGEOUS! I'm glad you're honoring us with a continious look into your life and food!
Such fabulous idea! It's so smart to document even the littlest moments in life, lest we forget them while only remembering the big events. You've encouraged me to do the same on my little blog. Thanks!
