Back to School Prep: Tips for a Smoother Week

Get ready for a smoother school week with these simple Back to School Prep ideas! From meal planning and easy snacks to organizing schedules, school supplies, and weekly routines, a little preparation can make busy mornings feel much easier. Find practical planning and everyday life inspiration on Shutterbean.com.

The last time I wrote a post about Back-to-School Prep was in 2018. Back then, my child was 9. As I write this in 2026, I have an almost 18-year-old senior in high school. His last year before college.

Perhaps I can leave a trail of knowledge behind for those of you who are just beginning your journey through school?

Here’s how I do Back-to-School Prep!

Intentions for the Week- Week 34 in 2026

Hi friends! Happy Monday! Did you have a good weekend? Did you get some self-care in?  I dropped off a bag for donation and distributed a bunch of books in free mini libraries in my neighborhood.

SCHOOL IS BACK IN SESSION (here), and I HAVE A SENIOR IN HIGH SCHOOL.

What what??!!

That means I need to start back up on the meal prep train! I usually take a break during Summer because our weeks are a little less hectic.

Here are My Intentions for the Week!
