Shutterbean Favorite Things 2025

Hello hello! It’s that time of year when I look back at all the things I welcomed into my life that brought joy, beauty and creative spark. Let’s get into Shutterbean Favorite Things 2025 edition:

Ransom Letter Note Sticker Book

You know how much I love sticker books! This one is pretty solid. You can play around with so many letters and numbers. There are also some fun symbols in the back too!  A perfect addition to your journaling supplies.

2026 Linnea Poster Calendar

Another year ordering my Mom’s favorite calendar. I started to buy them for myself every year since she died. This will be my 8th year carrying on the tradition. I think of her every time I look at it/change the month in my clear photobox frame (just like hers!).

Hobonichi Cousin 2026

This will be my 4th year using this planner. It’s essentially my daily art practice planner. You can see how I use it on this post and this one!

Rainbow Visual Timer

I feel like if I grew up with a visual timer that had a rainbow on it, I would be more motivated to finish things. I have this one on my desk, and I like the whole process of setting a timer. Yes, I found another timer that I love. Whatever works!

Hair Crimper

For like 3 months, TikTok was trying to convince me to get this crimper. I am sorry I waited that long. This crimper gives me the mermaid hair dreams I pined for as a child. I love that there’s a beep so you know when to move to the next section of hair. I’ll crimp my hair, and it will last a few days.

Shading pens

If you want to add life to your drawings, this shading pen pack is a good choice. I keep it in my pen bag (in its case), so when I need to make my food drawings pop or create shadows under letters, I am all set.

Elastic Bread Laces

Every time I put my shoes on now, I am blown away that I spent 45 years of my life having to tie my shoes. High-top Converse go on and come off like a dream. I have them on three pairs of my shoes, and they basically turn them into slip-ons. GAME CHANGER.

Transparent Sticky Notes

I’ve been going through a risograph phase this past year. I love layering colors and making new ones with the color crossover. These transparent sticky notes will add spice to your planners and art.

Sparkle Pens

These pens are dreamy. If you love watching your letters and drawings come to life, get these. They are really inky. Big fan.

Mr. Sketch Scented Markers

Wanna bring some joy and nostalgia back into your life? THESE MARKERS WILL DO THAT. Highlighting and coloring things in with these markers is a sensory experience. I love how you can smell them when you use them.  One night after dinner, I opened up the pack I had and had Cooper guess the scent with a blindfold on. LOTS OF FUN. You should try it.

My Pen Bag

I’ve been on a lifelong search for the perfect pen bag, and I think this one is it! It fits SO MUCH STUFF. Wanna know how much stuff you can fit in it? I wrote a whole post about what’s inside my pen bag, here!

Intentions for the Week- Week 48 in 2025

Hello! Week 48. It’s Thanksgiving week (if you celebrate!). Cooper is home this week, and my life is FILLED with TO-DO lists. Our weekend was full of house chores. We did a dump run and got rid of a bunch of things. HOORAY!!! We also had dinner with my Dad and Tina. I’m writing this from bed, where I am warm and do not want to move. Could someone please get me a cup of tea? 😉

(Cooper did)

If you’re ready to get organized for the new year, I wrote a whole post about my tracking tools on Substack
