Smoked Trout Dip

This Smoked Trout Dip from the new A Cozy Kitchen cookbook was a hit for my friend’s Halloween feast! I was excited to try it because the smoked trout from Trader Joe’s (which Adrianna mentioned liking too!) is one of my Trader Joe’s Pantry Staples.

As I suspected, it was a real hit! Especially loved by a man dressed up as Larry Bird and a man dressed up as a sea captain! A SEA CAPTAIN loved this smoked trout dip. I believe there was a Kenny Rogers who was pretty into it too. I’m glad I thought to double the recipe!

I’m thinking it deserves a spot on my charcuterie board from here on out. It might make its way into my weekly meal prep too…I can see it working with my gf everything bagel obsession… I love the addition of celery and capers!

Intentions for the Week

Intentions for the Week- Week 45 in 2026

Hi friends! Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Did you get some self-care in? What a fun and busy weekend! I made my Halloween costume (last-minute, of course). We went to my friend’s house and passed out candy and had a feast!

I made a proper mess on the dining room table, which I cleaned up late at night! We set our clocks back, and I hosted Self-Check-In. I had the house to myself and did meal prep. Hooray. It’s been a long time since I really checked what was happening in my fridge. I don’t know how I had the energy to film myself doing meal prep in the past. Maybe I just need to be more organized. Anywho!

Today I’m going to pack up orders. Thanks so much for ordering workbooks/planners from me!
