I read that blog bout the making your bed thing, and I did not see any research posted. Just wondering, because your list said “research shows that…” I am actually a huge nerd and was looking forward to reading a 20 page empirical study on that
That aside, I have heard about this before; not necessarily that it makes you happy, but that it can help insomnia. Turning down your covers at night acts as a stimulus that tells your brain “it’s time to sleep!”

Hi Tracy! I really love your blog and your podcast so so much and your lists make me smile every week
But I have a suggestion: maybe you could make your links in the lists into that kind that pops up in a new “flap” (you know, not a whole new window but a whats-its-name) ? I really like browsing through the pages you recommend, but then I want to get back to your page again, and I keep getting lost through links… Thank you for being awesome

I’m not super-high-tech so I’m not really sure – I mean, it could be somthing with my computer. But right-click and open in a new tab (that’s the word I was looking for!) is a great tip! now I wont get lost again

Those chocolate cupcakes sure are a thing of beauty, they have me oohing and aaahing as I wonder to myself to get out of my housecoat on this Saturday morning to go get the ingredients, or not. Decisions!
