HOW AWESOME IS THAT KITCHEN??? Oh my gosh, beauty! The Smithsonian Institute should just buy it and put it in the American History museum. How expensive do you think it would be to custom-design a refrigerator that was all at eye level??

  • Stacy

Love that kitchen. One of my previous apartments was obviously built in the fifties–it had a pink stove (made by General Motors–not GE, if I remember correctly). The bathroom was done in pink as well–tiles, toilet, sink and tub. It was awesome.

Can I just say that I love these posts so much? I am constantly sharing the articles/goodies you find on the interweb.

BTW, my husband and I listened to the Captain’s Log(s) on a slow-going road trip last weekend and we are still goofing on “Dazzles.” And he’s PO’ed they didn’t give you the champagne…not a classy move.

    Have an awesome weekend!

Stellar list today. Now to start drawing again (and organizing my pantry, maybe pouring some paint for fun, you know. The usual. = )

  • Bonnie Sanders

As usual, a great list! Thanks for the print, I have to have it too! The speed dating guys, so funny! I want that pantry! And I’m ordering the Book with no pictures for my nieces and nephews now!! Keep up the good work!

I always love your lists! Did you happen to read the comments on the school lunches around the world article?? Lol!

  • Emily @ Life on Food

I am chuckling at some of those back of the package recipes. Yes, they are so good and just what you need sometimes.

  • Sarah

I love this ‘I Love Lists Fridays’ and look forward to them every week!

    Thanks Tracey,

Your lists always help me through the bleak.

Hi Tracy. I loved the link to the 50’s kitchen. My grandmother on my mothers side, kept a pristine 50’s kitchen, almost exactly like the one in the article. The cabinets and the low lunch counter, appliances, built in’s, even her dishes and kitchen accessories and decor. My uncle lives there now, and it’s all still there. Not as clean as this. Obviously. But, yes, a totally 50’s kitchen in 2015. Very cool link. Thanks
