I made us cinnamon sugar pancakes to celebrate a sunny Saturday morning:
I made a mixed berry sauce & topped them with maple syrup and butterrrrrrrr……..
so good! i licked my plate clean:
-went to Ikea (bought mirror & awesome napkins)
-went to Home Depot for supplies
-had another frozen yogurt experience at Fraiche with my neighbors (yum! they loved it too!)
-went out for Indian food on Saturday night (so good! note to self- don’t eat Indian food that late AGAIN!)
-spent Sunday afternoon with a friend and had a little photo excursion while running errands
here’s some highlights:
and then we had some crepes at Ti Couz in the mission. Love that place!
Here’s my mushroom crepe:
and a minty lemonade…..
…and we stopped at Bittersweet and had some SUGAR:
It was a good/busy weekend.
We also watched most of the first season of 30 Rock (hilarious)
Did you have some good eats this weekend too?

Three things that helped me get through the day:
1. Tea with an old neighbor in my old ‘hood
2. Dinner courtesy of my mom. I heated up frozen sauce & meatballs my mom gave me. Her handwriting on the outside of the ziploc was soo cute! She wrote the meatball count: 12
I love her. She makes us chocolate suckers and sends them in the mail!
These are for Valentines Day:
3. I started my morning with some yummy coffee & watched the squirrels play around the backyard
so basically—Tea, Coffee & Meatballs helped me get through the day!

note to self: make more breakfasts like this one!
ingredients:
honey/cinnamon kashi with raspberries, a splash of half & half….and a drizzle of wildflower honey:
the secret: I added frozen raspberries to help cool down the oatmeal. They melt right away! mmm
