Could we possibly add more fruit to this concoction? My juicer sighs “Please no!”

I have to tell you that the kiwi and the mango are the real stars of this juice. They are thick, pulpy fruits that create quite a *sludge* in the juicer. What comes from them is not just juice; it’s more like a jammy nectar! When you add them to the pear and mandarin oranges you get a really thick juice. A juice that will make you feel like you are in Hawaii. A juice that is BEGGING for a decorative paper umbrella to accompany it!
Of course I HAD to add basil! I am such a sucker for that taste.

This is the perfect juice to drink if it’s rainy outside and you are missing summer.
Kiwi Mango Orange Basil Pear Juice
- 3 kiwis
- 1 mango
- 1 pear
- 1 handful basil
- 5 mandarin oranges
It’s a good idea to alternate the kiwi and mango juicing with pears & oranges. The juice of the pears & oranges help push out more mango & kiwi juices. You should throw the basil in during the pear/orange juicing to get the most out of it! You might have to clean out the juicer in between juicing since the kiwi sludge can block juice from extracting into your cup.

say somethingLOoks great. If it’s up to me, I’d leave off the basil. But I’ll take it.
