I like them raw and dipped in a little sea salt personally. But I've heard that they're great cooked with some butter like this - http://www.epicurious.com/...R-BRAISED-RADISHES-50033032
emily- that's easy enough!!! i'm totally down with that.

my favorite childhood salad - sorry no pic, but it's AMAZING: http://www.sassyradish.com/...radish_cucumber_salad.html
The french way. A good slice of crusty bread, a slather of unsalted butter topped with thinly sliced radishes and a sprinkle of sea salt. A perfect afternoon snack in our home. Enjoy mamacita!!!!
I love them sliced thinly and used as a topping for crostini spread with mashed avocado and sprinkled with sea salt. Cucumber slices work nicely on it too. Also, this year I discovered that you can make pesto with the radish greens -- use a bit of citrus juice, the greens, good oil, salt and pepper and nuts. It's vibrant and fresh and unexpected, but in a good way. I didn't add cheese but that's mostly because I tend to add it as I cook.
how about a simple salad with an olive oil and lemon juice vinaigrette, with shaved
fennel, sliced granny smith apples and some of this pretty radish babies?
reya- putting in my memory bank! yes!!
i knew i had a picture of it somewhere. don't add grapefruit like i did here. it just threw the whole thing off.
