It’s interesting because I live in CT abs our district has a no homework policy yet the town next to us does give homework. My niece, 6 months older than my son gets homework and was complaining about it other day. However, my sons teacher recently said many students bring home several pieces of work unfinished. There’s no requirement to finish them, just not enough time in the school day to complete everything. I think it’s a good and bad thing to have no homework. Sometimes it’s ok to do some things at home. It furthers the learning process from school. However, sometimes, if it’s busy work, it can be unnecessary. Ok, rant over…just very interesting to me.

I think it’s good to have homework. I feel bad that with all of the activities after school homework can get in the way of resting and going to bed at a reasonable hour.

Thanks for sharing that piece about the new Netflix feature because it reminded me to TURN IT OFF! My whole family loved Dumplin but we groaned and moaned every time Netflix offered to show us the scene again.

I love the old photos of Christmas decorations. My grandmother used to hang her tinsel one strand at a time and her tree looked just like #8. I miss that.

Thank you so much for letting me know of those Triple Ginger Cookies! These absolutely have to be on our christmas cookie platter.

I loved your Carrot Ginger Bread btw! Also, I’m going to make crystallized ginger on monday – I bought the little glass containers to gift them in just yesterday.

So, greetings from one ginger enthusiast to another 🙂
