Great list this week! Your dream home is a wonderful dichotomy of modern and classic, very snazzy. I’m digging the lemon lemonies, I almost made some before heading to the office this morning. I’m short lemons, that will have to be corrected.

Btw… please tell me all about your sandals. I need me some!

  • Mallory

So, on most Fridays…knowing I have this list to roam through at work in the morning is the only thing motivating me to get out of bed – well, that and breakfast. Happy Friday and have a good weekend!

  • jaime @laviejaime

ah great tips for hard boiled eggs…i always let them start in the cold water but i guess that’s not true!

  • Libby

You know there are a lot of reasons to love a Friday but this series is definitely one of the things that makes me the happiest.

  • abbey

Tracy, I just tried that egg boiling method yesterday and it worked perfectly! Game changer.

  • Emily @ Life on Food

I think I might have hit all of those lies!

  • Kate

Lemonies! Will be raiding my neighbor’s tree this weekend 😀

  • Mary Margaret

I just wanted to let you know that when typing “shutterbean” into the browser, I usually end up accidentally typing “shitterbean” and start cracking up like a 12 year old boy.

    Have a great weekend!

So glad Frisco and San Fran was addressed in #2!

  • Taylor

Hey Tracy, great list, photos in 14 were so interesting. Just thought I would mention that I heard you on the podcast a few weeks back saying people flick through your blog and don’t comment and that you think some people are turned off by your salads. I just wanted to say I’m guilty of not previously commenting, I love your blog, your photos, funny family, AND salad recipes (no one can eat cakes all the time!), so keep it up! And thank you for sharing!

    • Tracy

THANK YOU SOPHIE!!! I have a creamy soup recipe coming up soon. It’s all about balance 🙂 I’m glad you appreciate that.

I look forward to your lists every Friday. That grilled cheese hack is the bomb dot com. Also, my boyfriend and I have been thinking of moving to San Francisco in the next couple of years so I found that list very entertaining. I’ve been hearing it’s a lot more expensive than New York which is crazy! It’s so expensive here! Thanks for sharing as always! Hugs & cupcakes!

  • Gabriel

Yay! Thanks for including me lovely lady! Also…that boiled egg post and how to fix it –> like whoa. Happy weekend!

  • Little Gray Pixel

I totally nerded out about eggs and read the entire thing. So much new information. Maybe now I will be able to make the perfect one. Gah, do I love my eggs.

That Buzzfeed list just made me feel old because I didn’t care about 75% of the stuff on that list even though I lived through it all. I must be tipping the relevancy scale at the ripe old age of 35. Boo!

    • Tracy

Some of it was after my time! But I was like oooooooh yeah. Life was DIFFERENT back then.

  • Kate

Loved that Buzzfeed list! Today’s kids are missing out! Great post! Have a wonderful weekend!

  • Katie @ The Surly Housewife

I am in love with that dream home also. Epic. And why, oh why, did I click on the McConaughey link. Devastating 😉

  • Sini | my blue&white kitchen

Wow, that article about how much food people eat around the world each day was really thought provoking. Also, I ended up trying to peek what’s inside their bowls & glasses. “Is that curry?””Oh, what’s that?” Foodiebrain.

  • Brooke

    Tracy,
Thank you so much for making me one of your links on your really great Friday Link List. What a lovely and awesome surprise. I noticed a lot more people come by my site and saw where they came from–YOU! THANK YOU for sharing my story and my site with your amazing readers. I am incredibly thankful!

  • Amanda

Great link on the hard-boiled eggs — I am trying that!

Also, that link about what people eat around the world is actually a book. I own it and love love love it. Perfectly coffee table book. It’s called (smartly) “What I Eat.” 🙂

  • Adriene

I am loving those sandals! Where’d you get them?
