That chocolate milk is looking GOOD!
    Lovely photos!

  • Samantha

Where does one obtain such colorful dishes?!

  • Katy Riddle

Cooper’s “begging for a gingersnap cookie” face is soooo cute! Congrats on the cleanse, hope you feel awesome now x

    • Tracy

Thanks Katy! I feel pretty good, although I found that doing a juice cleanse in the winter has made me SUPER COLD. Definitely a lot easier during the summer months 😉

  • Simone

    Hi

I love this random photos of the week post you do!! So interesting!

What does the juice cleanse involve? Do you have any links? Sorry if you put one up and I missed it.

I also love listening to your podcast with Joy, keep up all this wonderful and easy to read work Tracy!!

    🙂

  • Katrina

Love that chocolate milk! And those nails?? Beauty!

  • Lucia

Colourful bowls and glasses and plates make people want to eat and to drink. Love those.

  • Dana

A few things to say here. One, I love the sharks. Precious. Two, I’ve been doing shellac for a few months now – with teaching I am very aware of my hands and yet, if I get a regular manicure, it doesn’t last for more than a few days. Loving it. Three, one of my resolutions was to take more pictures, open a Flickr account, and post photos of things other than food. I love what you are doing here. I plan to start something similar – a couple weeks late. 🙂 Happy new year!

    • Tracy

Shellac! So glad you’re into it. When I was getting mine done, the woman asked me if I used my hands a lot. I told her “More than you know!” I hear that it’s a pain to take off and it makes your nails look yucky afterward, but I am totally willing to go through that (I say this now) if I can have a manicure that lasts longer than a day. With all the dishes I do (without gloves mind you!) there’s no way I can prolong a manicure like this. It makes me wonder if Martha Stewart is into shellac. What color do you get?

I would LOVE to see more slices of your life. You do such a great job painting the picture with your words though! Happy New Year, friend!

      • Jane M

I am A.D.D.I.C.T.E.D. to shellac polish! I took a 1 month break and hope to be back on Friday for the next go around! My hands are ALWAYS in water, cooking and cleaning and of course for my job shipping TIES. So I really NEED the shellac polish! I love how my nails look and how they feel. They aren’t terrible (the nails) when the polish comes off at all. I have wimpy brittle icky nails to begin with sadly.

        Love love love your blog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Rita D.

I’m loving these posts and that is one cutie patootie kiddo you have, such a doll!

P.S. I have those same blue plates.

  • Megan

I’d like to chug that raw chocolate milk. Yum! Also, Cooper has mad drawing skills. Those are the best sharks.

  • Katie

Hold Up! Is Cooper drawing with Sharpies? You are one BRAVE Momma! Those sharks are pretty fancy, but I am cringing at the thought of my toddlers with Sharpies! Where do you find the strength?

    • Tracy

He is! Starting him early on the love of sharpies (with SUPERVISION of course!). I hide them once we’re done.

  • JILL

So digging this project 😀 You inspire!

  • Kay

I’m lovin’ this new photo series you are doing Tracy! You are quite the inspiration to this “wanna be a better blogger” napkin lady ! 🙂

  • Notyourmamasdinner

Oh, I feel like looking trough the keywhole. Such intimate and still so recognizable photos.
    L-O-V-E it!
Love the messy bedroom, the sharks, the chocolate milk, the salad, …
    You go, girl!

  • Chloe

I love your bedroom lamps!!! Where did you find them? I would love to purchase some if they are still around!

    • Tracy

I bought them from Pier 1 Imports 4 years ago 🙁 We had been looking for lamps FOREVER and they caught my eye when I was pursuing the SALE section. Can you believe they were $15 each?! Originally $160. I snatched them up IMMEDIATELY.

  • Yammie @ Yammie's Noshery

I love your dishes, I love your erranding outfit, and I love your photography. I wish I was so classy. And your little dude is adorable. 🙂

  • Reana Louise

Nice work on the sharks! I’m loving these little photo posts, although they do make me rather hungry!

  • Lori from a family's life

I love this new photo project!

Totally interested in your juice cleanse! Was it easy or difficult?

    • Tracy

When I did it during the summer it was a breeze. Winter? Super tough. I ended up being cold a lot! I’d wait until Spring to do one if I had the chance to do it over. Although, it HAS set me on a good path for eating! Hope that helps!
