In 2015, I broke my ankle (Trimalleolar fracture – both tibia and fibula and other bones) when walking in a crowd of people and stepping on a random curb (not one that was streetside) outside of Wrigley Field. Had to be in a hospital there for 2 days while I got it surgically repaired with plates and screws. I had said at the time that if the Cubs won the World Series, I would get a tattoo on my scar. I now have the ivy wrapping around my scar in a spiral (like DNA – being a fan is in my DNA – my parents went to a game on their honeymoon) and then curling around the Cubs logo at the top. It’s much prettier than the nasty scar up the ankle. 🙂
