Bruschette for dinner.

Iced tea like it’s going out of style.

Strappy sandals with gray nail polish.

Basil and sage hoarding.

Navy, orange, light blue & teal.

Cherry tomatoes ripening on the vine.

Peach and blueberry crumbles in old Pyrex dishes.

A new Radio Flyer wagon.

Flowers bursting with color.

Echinacea in the backyard.

A cold Vietnamese noodle salad with a heavy dose of mint.

Red wine outside.

Frozen yogurt for lunch.

Pop-Its littering the sidewalk.

My husband watching EVERY single Red Sox game with his favorite glass.

Hijacking closed schools and playing hopscotch.

Easy free-form pies bursting with fresh summer fruit.

Skateboard tricks & cold lemonade.

A perfect excuse to wear neon.

Kids so exhausted from playing, they fall asleep in the car.

Ripe strawberries infusing vodka and jam waiting to be opened.

Mason jars filled with vegetables.

My niece visiting from MA.

Grilling EVERYTHING in sight.

Eating dinner outdoors.

A bowl of fresh fruits & vegetables from my neighbor’s backyard.

And last but not least… the sound of an ice cream truck!

Your summer looks wonderful! I want an ice cream truck in my neighborhood! My summer is sparkling wine, peaches from the farmers market, oysters at the bar, lying by the pool until the afternoon thunderstorm rolls in (Colorado). Summer is walks with the dog hand in hand with the husband. Summer is slow and easy. Happy Summer!

As if I haven’t been craving the warmer months of summer enough – then I see this wonderful post describing it in a nutshell. I’m also a big fan of taking meals outside during summer (the closer to the beach the better), getting out for a walk whenever I can and indulging in ice cream.
I want your summer! Particularly your nail polish shades, noodle salad, and fro yo for lunch. Also, your adorable boy. Graham, who is now 6 1/2, fell asleep for the entire ride home from Lopez (90 minutes!) on Sunday. Too much playing!
I want some summer! It’s winter here, and all cold and rainy and snowy.
Can’t wait for some good-lookin’ summer!
Love this photo album of summer. I made lemonade and added a little of your strawberry infused vodka. I was “sipping” the stuff like it was my first cold beverage in months. So good!
My summer looks like celebration and new beginnings! I just got my Masters degree, started a new job, and moved in with the love of my life! so much to look forward to ! check out my blog – jadedlovely.wordpress.com
