I clicked on “These People Are Having a worse winter than You” thinking WHO?!? And the very first picture is a temperature screen shot from the area where we live…it made me laugh out loud.

  • Allison

Yep. St. Paul, MN right here. Waiting on the 12″ of snow that’s supposed to drop tomorrow.

  • Rebeca

I’d never heard of slutty brownies, somehow. It does seem like ignorance is bliss sometimes!

  • Kaye Lyssy Berman

That “kindness of strangers’ has me bawling into my soup during lunch! I’ll be reposting this one with encouragement for those who read it to go out and do a kind deed. Thank Tracy!

I love the look of the stairs without carpet on them. Was seriously considering that for my house. My next door neighbors did that and refinished theirs. They look beautiful. However, I take care of their cats when they are on vacation. I always take my shoes off when I go in the house so I don;t track anything on their floors.
The cat litter and cat food is upstairs in their home. Their stairs are really really slippery if you are just in socks, so I have to be very careful going up and down them. So I am really glad we haven’t done that. Carpeted stairs for me. I fell a few years ago and broke my ankle. Not taking chances on falling down stairs and breaking something else!

I literally gasped when I saw the SF rent, and I thought NYC was bad jeeez.
