I always love your friday list post! Just got into Homeland and became a HUGE fan. I actually didn’t even know he was British until I saw the video!

  • sheena

Thanks so much for the shout out!

  • Carly

I just have to tell you that your Friday lists are my second favourite thing about Fridays. (The first is the fact that it’s Friday.) I always start my Friday morning at work with a cup of tea and your list. Also, I don’t watch Homeland but the dude’s dancing at the end of the first video is strangely sexy! (I’ve now watched it at least 10 times!)

mmmmm! cashew fried rice. definitely making this weekend. and I broke down and ordered the golden syrup from KAF, so I’ll be whipping up some of your amazing-looking gingerbread, too. can’t wait!

Tracy – the humblebrag! YES!! Funny, I was writing about it today. Great mind and all!! But here’s a good question: there are a lot of people who do it — so why do we let them get away with it? Why doesn’t anyone call them out?

    • Tracy

Because we’re not the type of people who want to call attention to ourselves-negative or positive!

  • cheryl

THANK YOU, so much. (Really.) I am a huge candidate for a High Straightenance intervention, obviously.

  • Katrina @ Warm Vanilla Sugar

OK can I tell you, I am so glad you posted that link up about Carnival Cookies- I got the Super Natural Everyday cook book for Christmas and we made those cookies yesterday… I KNEW I had seen them online somewhere and I searched the 101cookbooks blog forever and couldnt find them anywhere but obviously since you have made them I saw them HERE! GAH! of course!! Thanks for making me feel a little less cray cray. Also- those cookies are so nom worthy. Love your lists!

    • Tracy

I’m so glad I was able to jog your memory! They’re super in the freezer….in case you have any left! 😉

I love the humblebrag-my husband and I have been joking about it for the past few weeks-it’s definitely everywhere!

I don’t know if I’ve said this before, but I look forward to this EVERY WEEK. It’s my favorite.

  • Nicole

The critical camera angles are hilarious!! Thanks for sharing the Damian Lewis clip. It’s like he’s dancing on air, whoa.

  • Jessica

  • Katie @ Blonde Ambition

Um, is it weird that I wasn’t attracted to Damian Lewis UNTIL seeing him do the Gangnam Style dance?

Also, I’m ashamed to say it because I grew up in a largely Asian neighborhood, but I’ve never had dim sum! However, I’m glad to know there’s a guide out there because it seems a lil intimidating 😛

I just listened to your podcast for the first time on my lunch break and loved it! I also looked a little silly laughing to myself while listening on my headphones in the park 🙂

    • Tracy

Haha. I totally get it. There’s something in my brain that is attracted to men who can be goofy & dance.

  • tami

thanks for including me! i always love your lists 🙂 have a great weekend!

  • Sarah

Your lists always introduce me to something wonderful. I can’t get over how great the anti-blog post is on The Little Red House.

  • Denisse

I’ll definitely check out the book, sounds intriguing. Thanks for the recommendation!

  • Kelli @ The Corner Kitchen

I second The Power of Habit!! Such a great read…definitely one of the most interesting books I’ve read in a long time.
