That leopard seal video is absolutely incredible, even more so than of Richard Simmons on Kimmel. Gaby’s recipes look great. Didn’t even recognize young Larry David. Love the guest room cart idea. Burning Man- bleh! Thanks for making my morning!

      I like your thinking!

I am a freak for amaretti! that dessert looks amazeballs.

Oh, Burning Man! As a former resident of Reno, I have only ever been witness to the before/afters of burning man…I had a neighbor whose art car was a freaking boat on wheels. It was cray. Also, Nevadans know to lock up their bikes the week before…cause they will get snatched up. This year, at the airport I witnessed several dudes wolf down McDonalds (typical), one girl yelling at airport staff, and another talk about how “the playa gives you what you need” and how she spent the whole summer discovering herself and that Burning Man was her last hurrah before she had to go back to Wisconsin to pick up her 11 year old and find a place to live. It’s wild.

Also, young George Clooney made me LOL…for real. He looks like Velma from Scooby Doo.

HILARIOUS!!! Are they scarfing them down cuz they were eating raw foods all week and needed a burger?

      • September 7, 2013

        they needed a burger cleanse!

Great list! The peach amaretti crumble reminds me of my streusel stuffed peaches – I’m totally wishing I would have served them with coconut ice cream. Yum!

Call me crazy, but the burning man link makes me want to go more. Sure, there will be some weirdos there, but isn’t that part of the fun? I’d like to go just once, for the experience of it all. Great links!
