Casey put these hairpin legs on our ikea bookshelf. I love it.

He’ll probably get mad because I took a picture before he put all the records back.

We went out to lunch. He was mesmerized by the basketball game on TV and I was so fascinated by the family behind him. They didn’t talk to each other for 30 minutes.

  • Silvia @ skinny jeans food

Big hugs to Pinot! Hope, she is alright.

  • Joy

Your home is so beautiful. All that natural light…I’m so envious.

I’m always fascinated by couples/families that go to restaurants and don’t talk to each other.

Thanks for another great week of inspiration in seeing beauty in the everyday.

  • Kelsey

Tracy – where are those hairpin legs from? Tbanks!

  • Emily @ Life on Food

Love the pot pie photo and the dinner for three.

  • Erica

The glimpses of your painted cabinets are fun. I hope you do a post about them soon!

  • Sarah

i love your photos – do you mainly use a DSLR for these or iPhone? If you don’t mind sharing 🙂

  • Megan

So I just listened to the podcast where you and Joy discuss typos..so I had to giggle. Check your their/they’re in this one. From one typo-filled lady..no judgement. Speaking of the podcasts..I’m about to start campaigning for it to come back!!!

  • Kara

Yes!!! Glimpses of the cabinets! I love people watching at restaurants–especially multi-gen families.

  • Jo

Enjoy the good days with her – there are never enough. I ache for my Meggie and it’s been a yr and a half. Good luck.

  • christina

Love those hairpin legs! Would love to know more about those speakers!

    • Casey

Christina, the speakers are Elac Debut F5.
To quote a review from The Absolute Sound “The Elac F5 go beyond just being the rare, good speaker for the money. They’re a veritable gift to budget-conscious audiophiles”

  • Sara

Have you a recipe for the overnight oats!? Looks killer. <3

  • Katie

Love all the joy spottings! Are you guys planning any podcasts soon? I miss you ladies!

  • Priya

Tracey, I LOVE the IKEA storage with hairpin legs! Am in the process of (finally, after almost 5 years!) decorating my bedroom and this is perfect. Now just the matter of whether to go for bright yellow ones or classic….

    • Priya

Sorry, I misspelt your name- my friend spells it with an e. I know how annoying it is when people misspell your name!
