I bought a grapefruit the other day. Actually two because I was making this recipe.  It’s so weird I’m into grapefruit because I remember HATING everything that had grapefruit in it when I was younger. But it just so happens that if you put grapefruit in a cocktail, or if you sprinkle sugar on top and put it under the broiler to make a Grapefruit Brûlée, I’m totally fine with it. A tablespoon of sugar (maybe more!) and a short trip under the broiler or a little light from a creme brûlée torch to burn the sugar and you’re good to go. Happy snacking!

    This looks like a delicious idea for grapefruit. I love grapefruit, too bad it’s out of season right now. I’ll have to try this in the winter.But luckily you can still get it in beer, yesterday I tried a Schofferhofer Grapefruit Hefeweizen. Tasted more like juice than beer.

    I’ve already made this twice today. It’s amazing! Thanks for sharing this great way to eat grapefruit. I was already planning on eating grapefruit with breakfast and this just made it that much better.
