Intentions for the Week

Looking to get your head in the game? Tracy from Shutterbean makes a weekly TO DO LIST called her Intentions for the Week. Here's what this week looks like:

Happy Monday! We spent the weekend camping and OMG I HAVE SO MUCH LAUNDRY TO DO.  We can definitely cross CAMPING WITH FAMILY off the list. My father-in-law is visiting this week from CT. He and Casey are working on some projects around the house. I am hoping I can have him help me with some landscaping. We’ll see!  Cooper doesn’t have camp this week so things should be crazy around my house 🙂

  • follow up on shipping
  • oil change?
  • dentist/annual exam <—- PUT ON YOUR CALENDAR, TRACY

What about you?

What are you up to this week?

Let’s see what you’ve got planned!

  • Hannah

Hi Tracy! I just wanted you to know you inspired me to do one of these each week! I started a new job in May and I’ve felt OUT OF CONTROL (food, money, sleep, exercise, etc) ever since. Doing this list has definitely helped me feel more in control and cognizant of putting myself first over the stress of work.

  • Abby

I love your intention to eat outside more! I should add that to my list:

    – Pack for vacation!!!
    – Menu plan for vacation
    – Laundry
    – Yoga
    – No buying snacks at work
    – Eat more veggies

    • Tracy

Oooh what kind of snacks do you have at work?

      • Abby

In an effort to stop buying snacks, I’ve been keeping RX bars, ginger hard candies (no sugar, they’re super spicy!), carrots and hummus, and nectarines in my office. So far, so good!

  • Jennie

You’ve been helping me so much with these posts! Intentions:
    -schedule a physical
-figure out plans for the 4th of July
-plan a menu for a baby shower I’m throwing (+ delegate a little)
-plan out the details for a BBQ we’re hosting
-hang some pictures on the walls
-get outside while it’s not humid and gross

  • Jamie

I fell off the wagon for a couple of weeks but reading your list each week has still been helping me stick to MY list of things. So this week:

    – Meditate daily (I’ve been doing this M-F and I LOVE it)
    – Yoga?
    – Hang my dance jewelry (back on the list)
    – Meal prep: teriyaki chicken, crock-pot taco pheasant (we’ll see if pheasant works as well as chicken for this one)
    – Find homes in studio for new vintage pieces
    – #AreYouBookEnough book for June, not like I’ve procrastinated on this one or anything….

  • Christine

I need to do a ton of succulent transplanting, too, but that would require a trip to Home Depot and I went last week, fulfilling my quota for at least one more month. This week I hope to finish a few books, get in some solid runs and yoga session, try to squeeze in a bit more sleep (how am I getting less sleep during summer break than when I am teaching?!? ugh), and spend some time with friends.

    Have a good week!

  • Rachel

I hope to put together a cleaning schedule also! Is there a program online you like?
