It’s been AGES since we’ve had pasta in my household. Why??? Well, there’s a 3 year old that I live with who doesn’t like pasta. WHAT? Can you imagine that? A kid that doesn’t like pasta? My Italian grandma would consider this sacrilegious.
Since there are two adults in my household that love pasta, I had to make this simple recipe.
Grandma might be ashamed to know how easy this recipe is. You mean marinara doesn’t have to take 4+ hours to make? The best things in life are just plain simple. Just like this pasta.

While I was letting these ribs sit in the fridge to marinate, I got it in my head to invite some friends over for dinner. Casey panicked and interrupted my phone call with, “What are you gonna feed them for dinner??!” As in…he didn’t want me to share his ribs with anyone. I thought it was cute.
He was lucky they didn’t pick up the phone. But really…I was the lucky one. I randomly made a batch of taquitos a few hours before dinner just so I could fill him up and eat more ribs. I’m selfish/smart like that.
There’s no shame.

I got a little overzealous when I bought blueberries last week. It’s a shame that Cooper decided he doesn’t like blueberries this year. KIDS!
I wondered if I could get him to eat blueberries in cake form? Do you think it worked??
Nope. Just two adults eating Blueberry Pudding Cake out of a pan….in addition to these three bowls.
I always serve up an extra bowl for an imaginary guest. That bowl is YOURS.
