Obsessed with the hat I bought at H & M  5 years ago. I found it when I was cleaning out my closet. It’s the perfect thing to wear when I have serious bed head. No one knows what’s hiding under there.

I tried zumba for the first time a couple weeks ago, took my 5 1/2 year old with me…we were both exhausted 20 minutes into it. We laughed, we sweated, we left early.
Can’t wait to read about your closet cleaning adventure!

I like how you eat different things unashamedly. I think a lot of food-makers try to please everyone, and please no one! This is so much better.

I’ve been stalking that same jacket, but haven’t pulled the trigger yet because of the reviews. How has the quality been? Are the snap closures sewn tightly to the coat?

Where did you get those leopard print shoes from! I want them! You pull them off real well!

    • Tracy

There’s a link in the post. I got them on Amazon :) I love that they are Vans because I know that they’ll last a long time and fit well!

Recently I started doing Aqua Aerobics at my gym. AND I’ve tried ZUMBA water aerobics twice now. On land I really STINK at Zumba – in the water – no one can see my non dancing abilities and you know what? I.LOVE.IT! What a workout I get…and come December, I will be MOTHER OF THE BRIDE and I plan on wearing a gorgeous cap sleeved or long sleeved gown. I need to be ready for the grand event! On a side note, wedding or not, I would still go to my aqua aerobics because it’s JUST that FUN!

Have you bought anything else from Betabrand? I’ve always wondered about those dress yoga pants…

I love these peeks into your life!! Your son is adorable, what a cutie!

  • Erica

Yay for Zumba! I do it three times a week now for the past two years and I love it! Totally changed my work out game!

  • Katie

Omg! OBSESSED with your leopard print vans! I’ve been buying similar ones from target and I wear them so much they just fall apart- will def be getting some
    Of these!

Whoa! Looks like you found a pair of skinny jeans – cute!!! Love the outfit, I think you’re my clothing spirit animal!

they’re from GAP- which is really the only brand of jeans that I think works with my shape. I prefer their Long & Lean (and I usually get the regular and hem them – or I get the petites, but I know they fit a little bit differently).

      here they are:

      http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=1026938&vid=1&pid=123578002

They’re really stretchy- which I don’t mind. Some people have a problem with that. I recommend them.

Lovely post. What kind & color of makeup do you wear? I love the color of your eye shadow and lipstick.

I see some of that baked spaghetti in my near future!

  • Amanda

What sauce were you making with the roasted grape tomatoes? I clicked on the baked spaghetti link thinking that might be it, but I don’t see them there (although that looks relish so I’ll be trying that soon!).

Made the kale soyrizo tacos last night. My husband was suspicious and asked why we weren’t just using real chorizo. I told him because Tracy Shutterbean’s recipes never fail me. And….the streak is unbroken! They were delish and even the husband couldn’t find anything to complain about! He’d probably still prefer the other sausage, but the soyrizo is a nice meatless alternative!

    • Tracy

I made a linguine & clams with red sauce with those tomatoes :) It was gooooood. I’m so glad he liked the soyrizo. Casey totally prefers chorizo, but he always eats the soyrizo because he likes it!
