My Everyday Life Week 28

My Everyday Life – Week 28 | A Weekly Photo Journal by Tracy Benjamin

This week we flew to Boston to lay my brother-in-law to rest.

I have known him since 1998.  Our family misses him so much.

The ceremony was beautiful. It was heartwarming to catch up with family and reminisce. There were plenty of tears, and just as much laughter.

The red eye totally messed up my internal clock. Clouds from above light by the moon, were pretty cool though.

I went on a walk with Cooper to find some lunch outside our hotel. We ran into a bunny.

  • Colleen

Such deep sympathy to your family. I’m glad you were able to gather at Sox game to lighten the load. Thank you for sharing, your cloud photo from the plane is amazing.

  • Alicia A

Welcome to Massachusetts, it was a good and sad trip for you.
Nothing like a good Sox’s game though. My hometown.

  • Kristin

I’m very sorry for your loss.

  • Karen

    So sorry for your loss.

  • Erin

I am so sorry for you and your family’s loss. I think it means a lot that you shared these pictures and thoughts about him, not an easy thing to do but an important thing to do. I’m glad the tears came with laughs and I am sure he’ll be missed incredibly and also remembered frequently. Big hugs to you all.

  • Maureen Carmichael

I am so sorry for your family’s loss. I am always reminded of Queen Elizabeth’s quote of “Grief is the price we pay for love”. It brought me comfort when I was grieving someone close to me and I hope it does to you as well.

I hope you are able to return to Boston under happier circumstances sometime soon and get to go the Paper Mouse in Newton, MA and Cabot’s Ice Cream in Newton. Until then know that a fan/friend of yours cares.
