My Everyday Life Week 41- Here’s what this past week looked like:
This week I was in Wisconsin visiting my friend Helen Jane!

I woke up with this cutie in my bed. This is Pepper!

Helped clean up a TP house.

Packing up for a week on the lake.

I spent the morning working on my September pages and posted them on THC.

ROAD TRIPPING!

My first time trying Culver’s!

Immediately unpacked the art supplies.

First meal there, I made us cheesy scrambled eggs and breakfast potatoes with salsa. We ate so well this week!

On the dock.

Very woodsy at the lake.

I brought some foliage in.

Helen Jane made us this amazing Italian salad. Frizzled salami!

My view from the table. I loved seeing the water sparkle in the afternoon.

We went for many walks, thanks to Pepper.

I was able to forage some flowers along the way.

We went on some driving adventures. I went up to the world’s largest soup kettle. Got a lesson in booya.

Watched some dragonflies doing naughty things.

Spent a lot of time working on art.

AND LAUGHING and smiling!

Sat by the lake and let all the feelings come up.

Found some amazing light.

And pretty clouds.

We set up a timer and hugged, and it blasted LIGHT at the lens.

Pepper got her full image credit.

Kids made a “snow man” out of sand.

THE COLOR OF THE TREES!!

Crunch crunch crunch.

I made us a gf sausage, mushroom, and penne with roasted zucchini and mozzarella for dinner.
IT WAS YUMMY.

Helen Jane worked on an embroidery project.

GIRL FRIDGE!

I made a map of my astrological chart.

We clocked in a lot of hours here.

My cup of choice this week.

Helen Jane made sausage veggie fritatta and a salad for late breakfast.

What a delight it is to have a friend cook for you!

Here’s a little look at my chart. I am looking forward to doing some finishing touches with my favorite paint pens.

Driving through so much yellow and orange.

We stopped in Goodman at a wifi park so I could make my I LOVE LISTS for this week.

Thank you, Goodman.

Goodbye black-eyed-susan season.

Gave me Dawson’s Creek vibes.

Happy hour on the dock.

I am so grateful for this time together. We hadn’t seen each other in years!

Sunset palm.

The lake looked like a sound wav file.

Wispy wisps!

I made us corn and pepper quesadillas with guac for dinner.

Longer walk this day. I loved the neon signs.

A road that went on forever with Bigfoot at the end.

Picked this up at the grocery store.

Immediately made it my own.

Just one mess I made.

I organized all my scraps for my travel collage kit.

We had an extra day to adventure, and we got to do some thrifting!

These are coming home with me. ESPECIALLY FOR 5 DOLLARS.

Last dinner on the lake- Helen Jane made chicken quesadillas and corn riblets (obsessed!).

Last walk of the trip. Thank you, Wisconsin, Thank you, HELEN JANE!!! I LOVE YOUUUUUUU.
Thank you, Casey, for holding down the fort and for surprising me with a trip to Wisconsin! xoxo
