Recipes for When You’re Sick

Recipes for When You're Sick- Tracy from Shutterbean shares a list of recipes that will help you get well soon!

Recipes for When You’re Sick!

Are YOU or someone you know currently under the weather?

(awwww I’m sorry I hope you feeling better!)

Under the weather? What does that even mean?

“Under the weather is an idiom that means “feeling sick or unwell.” It’s often used to explain that someone is ill without having to go into details. “

Saying I’m not feeling 100% also works.

First, here’s a friendly reminder:

I tell my son that the second he walks into the house.

Another thing my Mom would have said.

Tracy from Shutterbean shares the recipes you should make when you or your loved one is feeling sick.

Are you getting enough fluids?

Besides Emergen-C+ bubbly water (great combination btw), I go right for soups & other healing beverages.

Let’s talk

I opened the website to find the lemon ginger recipe, and here was this post. 🙂 Excited to finally make it after seeing it appear in your blog posts so much!

I hope I never need these! If you insist, I will have to make and try all of them,…..just in case you know.

Aww, these recipes are so comforting! Perfect for when you’re feeling blah. I’m definitely saving this for the next time I’m under the weather. Thanks for sharing!

  • Funny Shooter 2

Oh, this is perfect timing! My roommate’s feeling a bit under the weather and needs some comforting recipes. It’s funny how we all have our own little sayings for feeling unwell. My brother’s always quoting lines from his favorite games when he’s sick. Last time, it was something about needing health packs… I think he’d get a kick out of knowing there’s a game called Funny Shooter 2! Hope your suggestions help my roommate bounce back quickly. Thanks!

    Oh, this is perfect timing!

  • Solar Smash

Ah, chicken soup is my go-to comfort food too! I love how versatile it is. When I’m really feeling down, though, and need something to just switch my brain off, I actually find it helpful to mess around with the game Solar Smash. It’s weirdly cathartic! Your ramen ideas are great, though, especially with mushrooms and kimchi. Sounds delicious! I might have to try that next time I need a quick pick-me-up.
