Here’s what this past week looked like:
I took my niece to the California Academy of Sciences this week.

Our highlight was the planetarium.

WHOA.

Climbing.

Pointing.

Waiting for a decent landing.

Mesmerizing.

Selfies with a tourist photobomb.

Humid.

I went a little overboard with melting chocolate (a handful of chocolate chips with a teaspoon of coconut oil melted in the microwave) last week for the Indoor S’mores, so I dipped some fresh apricots with it! I then chopped up some pistachios and ate all four. SNAAAAAAAACK ATTACK. Pretty healthy too.

I had a coworker who would pour himself a huge bowl of yogurt and toss cantaloupe in it for breakfast. In my head, I thought it was kind of weird and later on I found out that my other coworkers agreed. It must have been a texture thing. But blending the two together? Well, you’re onto something there.
Cantaloupe Lassi enters the picture!

This recipe is an adaptation of my friend Cheryl’s Pineapple Lassi recipe from her latest book- Yogurt Culture.
I didn’t have pineapple…..

It’s light. It’s refreshing. There’s a little spice to it with the cardamom. The saffron on top makes it fancy and it’s a wonderful way to use up all that cantaloupe you overbought. I know you. You’re just like me.
Just cut it up, put it on a baking sheet and toss it in the freezer. You’ve got yourself frozen cantaloupe. And you’re one step closer to making Cantaloupe Lassis.

MEAT. It’s not pretty, but dang…. IT’S TASTY. Look at this Slow Cooker Pulled Pork!

One of my current Meal Prep staples is pulled pork! And I’m going to show you how to make it and give you some ideas how to use it. The best part is that we let our crock pot do all the work. You can come home from work and make BBQ pulled pork sandwiches in no time! Carnitas tacos too! No need to turn the oven on. We’re keeping things cool in the kitchen this Summer.

I have a batch of popsicles in the freezer right now. Look out for a new recipe on Wednesday! It’s totally POPSICLE SEASON, so bust out your popsicle molds….clear some space in your freezer because once you start making popsicles, you can’t stop!

Two favorites combined together! It will make you think of all that Bath & Body Works lotion you hoarded in your high school bedroom.

Cooper’s favorite drink turned POPSICLE!

If you have some leftover lemon curd, YOU NOW HAVE A NEW USE FOR IT!

Because we’re grown adults who like to put a little booze in our popsicles…..

Things that make you go mmmmmmm.

Things are getting TROPICAL up in here. You could always take out the sticks and blend up the popsicles. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Wait. This is not desperate. It’s just genius.

Peach Pops! That’s fun to say. There’s vodka up in here.

This one went viral last year. It’s because THEY’RE amazing. Sometimes I float one in a giant glass of Pimm’s Cup. META!

Oh goodness. These ones were the most refreshing popsicles ever. They combine all my favorite cocktail flavors in one popsicle!
Here are the popsicle molds I use. I love the shape of them because they’re CLASSIC!
