My Everyday Life Week 37

Here’s what this past week looked like- My Everyday Life Week 37

I have to get another mammogram soon to get another look. I’m trying to stay positive. I posted about it on my Instagram stories and heard from so many people who have been in the same boat. There were a few older women who left comments and this one made me feel comforted. It’s something my Mom would have said.

It meant that I spent less time online this week.  I gave myself some space to think.

Hi Tracy. I noted that section where you think about inspiring others and I thought I had to tell you about how you have inspired me. I’ve been reading your weekly blog updates for a number of years now but over lockdown here in UK I found I had more time to think about how I didn’t want to go back to my ‘normal’. I found myself watching your family life and I thought ‘I want to choose the bigger life’. I have started driving lessons again, enrolled for an astronomy course at university, started cooking again, dusted off my lovely old camera and re-instated adventure in my life. kayaking, bouldering and socialising are on the cards. I wanted to thank you and let you know you have directly contributed to my Bigger Life.

Thank you so much for your message, Chuck. It came at a time when I really needed it.
I never know how sharing my life online can change someone else’s and I am really am so thankful you took the time to let me know. Keep up the good work! You should be so proud of yourself and the momentum you’re creating in your life.

      All the best,

      Tracy

    Hi Tracy,
Thanks for posting that quote about not worrying … it really resonated with me. I too had followup diagnostics after a mammogram. My followup appt was this morning and turns out everything is fine … I hope the same is true for you. Meanwhile, before I left this morning for my appointment, my husband asked my how I was so calm about it (anxiety is typically my middle name), and I showed him the quote you had posted; it really helped with my mindset. So, thank you!

    • Tracy

Oh my goodness! I am so glad to hear that your test went well. I’m glad this quote helped. Sending you all the best, xoxo
