My Everyday Life Week 31

My Everyday Life Week 31- Here’s what this past week looked like:

Crossed off two things from my Summer Bucket Bingo card this weekend.

Summer Altar! Here’s a photo. It includes my writing prompt for July, so I can reflect on it every time I look at it.

Sit by a fire was also on my bingo card. Check!

We went to Cousin Jen’s house!! My in-laws were still in town and we had a family dinner.

I made my herbed potato salad with three different colored potatoes, green beans, and arugula!

This is Tom. I fell in love with him.

DINNER! I love that there were plates that were decorated by the kiddos.

Recreating a cousin photo.

TOM!!!!!!

Casey made smoked wings in our smoker. They were yummy.

The leftover ceviche became breakfast over hash browns.

I am loving tomato season. This is a zucchini pesto pasta situation. I added feta cuz I ran out of parm.

I shared my cowboy candy recipe this week! This one was on my summer bucket list for years! zsx

Homemade Candied Jalapeños (Cowboy Candy) are sweet, spicy, tangy, and incredibly easy to make. A delicious way to preserve fresh jalapeños and add flavor to burgers, sandwiches, tacos, and more.

I also made a batch of tuna salad this week. That’s the extent of my meal prep.

Avocado hash brown “toast” with a tomato Lisa grew.

The last bagel of this week.

Having a conversation with my old neighbor this week at The Hivery.

We just met, and we lived in the same building at the same time when I was freshly married. She drew this egg and an avocado on a rock during our crafternoon, and I wrote Eggy & Avi on them.

Mom and Dad walked the track.

I love these things.

I am slowly creating my own rock garden.

That’s what coffee is for.

My Dad used to say this.

Classic Marin summer vibes.

Went on a walking adventure with Lisa in Ross.

The trees here are so pretty.

The light in the afternoon is so special.

We stood in a ring of redwoods.

That little paw tuck.

I GREW THESE!!!!! I am so excited to see them pop off. I’ve been drawing them in my journal all month.

Striped out.

I even found a striped turkey feather near my car on the way out.

I shared the inside of my first finished junk journal this month in this video.

Full moon.

I am working on like 10 junk journals at once.

Detour.

My Friday night ritual.

The cat trap worked.

All I had to do was draw on paper.

My Everyday Life Week 31 of 2026- Tracy Benjamin of Shutterbean.com

A customer ordered these everyday magic zines this week, and I was imagining how/who they were giving it to.

A reminder to love yourself.

July review! I like looking over the tarot cards I pulled at the beginning of the year and see how it shaped up.
