My Everyday Life: Week 14

Here’s what this past week looked like – My Everyday Life Week 14

Sometimes you have to get in character to clean your house. It definitely works for me.

Every day I start with a list.

I’ve been starting the days meditating outside while taking care of our garden.

Since I don’t have to commute to/from school every morning it gives me extra time to work out there. Feeling grateful to have this space to play in.

Eating the last slice of walnut raisin bread & working on my Currently March spread.

I love this coconut butter.  It’s my favorite!

I am drawing all of the things I’m growing in my Currently Workbook.

Curious!

Snail mail came in this week. I felt so loved!

Outgoing mail.

I love when he draws.

Mail to Christine, Christina & Andrea 🙂

This is how I make magic!  By sending it!

The purple hair is fading.

Spicy Coconut Noodles!  Husband was so happy that I brought this one back into the rotation.

I love waking up with him.

We are growing things!  Avocado pit, green onions and celery!

Reminds me of my childhood. We always had an avocado pit growing on our counter.

It’s amazing how fast celery grows!

Wisteria is popping!

My lettuce is in the ground.  Looking forward to eating it!

Finishing up the last of my killer granola. Must make more soon.

Comfort food.

He reads in the afternoons.

My 10 year old niece makes me smile.

Homemade tortilla chips cuz we ran out!

Tea before bed.

Good morning.

Calendar change.

This week I realized that my son chews on his pencils.

His teacher assigned a self portrait exercise so we did it together!

Casey bought Mother’s iced oatmeal cookies when I stand in my kitchen eating them, I am hit by a crazy wave of nostalgia.

Life with a boy.

PROGRESS.

I didn’t feel like making dinner after I made cookies from scratch…

Pizza bagels from the freezer, IT IS.

Cookies for breakfast!

Ready to party.

Going out to get groceries is WILD.

Husband has been making himself cocktails.

I’ve been styling them  & photographing them to keep my creativity alive.

I grew that mint!

I took this one outside in the afternoon.

Burger night included crinkle cut fries.

Best buddies.

I know Rosie, I know.

Definitely going through a cereal phase.

Organized my seed packets in a photo storage box. It’s so convenient!

Clematis bloomed this week!

Found this on my iPad…

Saturday morning hash.

Watching him make toast.  Feeling proud that he’s become so independent.

Day 5 of making my own sourdough starter.

I’m following this recipe from King Arthur Flour.

I can’t wait to make a loaf with it. Hopefully the flour I ordered will come soon!

This took me about 20 minutes of coaxing, but I MADE IT HAPPEN AND THEY SLEPT TOGETHER FOR OVER AN HOUR ON MY BED.

Saturday Happy Hour with Leslie, Jen & Andrea.

Thank goodness for girlfriends & technology!  Talking with them made me so happy.

I just discovered your blog and am so glad I did.. so many things to comment on I don’t even know where to start!
Loved the snail mail you received from a student.

Love the kittycats, glad they are starting to get along better. Rosie kills me because in a lot of her pictures she looks p’od about something :).

Curious about this though, how are you going to keep the deer and rabbits out of your garden? They are both a problem for me in Ohio so I’ve not planted stuff for a few years.
